Cons -
- I just wish the female staff smiled more; I could sense abit of skepticism and lack of warmth from the female staffs. As soon as they saw that I'm not European....but overall, they kept professionalism intact...At some point, I felt like they switched my internet off so they could come into my room so to inspect because I presume that their skepticism of me not been an European pushed them to that...probably because the female staff that brought the extra duvet to my room smelled the non European aroma of my dinner. I spoke with the male staff about my suspicion and he blamed it on the age of the building. I didn't believe him though but I accepted it.Then they didn't call my room to ask if the internet was back on, ofwhich it wasn't.As I was stepping out of the hotel, I updated the hotel that it's been hours and the internet was still off. Then they offered to go into my room while I was out and I said NO! I told them to please wait until I was back.My suspicion is that they went into my room anyways, inspected and turned the wifi/wlan back on. This I can't prove, it's just a suspicion.THEY REFUSED TO COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH with me!! Was that intentional or their inability to speak the language?. I guess I'll never know now.:)I'm an English teacher and I'm ready to be of service. But overall, my favorite thus far
- A small tea/coffee selection and a kettle in the room would be great. We did receive an electric kettle upon request though so not an issue.
- Even a small kettle in the room would be useful to boil water for tea (or another hot drink), as it's not always possible to go down to the lobby bar late at night (especially when you're already in your pajamas ;-) ).

I like the location, the professionalism of the staff and the setup of the whole hotel.I haven't felt that level of professionalism in a long time in hotels or anywhere else. I love ❤️ it!!!!!!I also felt so safe I could sleep with my door opened. They were neat, well mannered and respectful.

Lovely hotel with a lot of character and very nice and friendly staff. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet with a lot of choices. Location is also great, with 20 minutes walk to the old town.

Great location, spacious room and clean environment with a touch of artistic flair. The stuff are wonderful and welcoming.
This is my second stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful!Great location! Easy to find, just a few meters from Dresden Neustadt train station. About a 10-15-minute walk to the old town (Zwinger, Semperoper, etc.), close to tram and bus stops, and not far from another tram hub at Albertplatz. The hotel is very stylish. The lobby is very nice and the bar is open 24 hours a day (definitely open until 12:30 AM, as it's verified ;-)). It's clean. Breakfast is very good and has a large selection of food, although it's a bit pricey (22 euros). The rooms have TVs with direct access to Netflix and YouTube (if you have an account and don't speak German). The rooms are equipped with a safe and a refrigerator.I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I visit Dresden again.

I was nicely surprised by this hotel. It is a bit old fashioned but in a good way. The staff were very nice and the room and bathroom were really big and very clean. It was quiet and just beside one of the main train stations. I would definitely recommend it.
I was satisfied with the stay at Hotel Bayerischer Hof Dresden. This hotel is located close to Dresden-Neustadt station and also easily accessible by tram. The access to the heart of Dresden is quite easy. The staff are kind and attentive. The room was spacious and cozy. Though my room faced to the street and the rail tracks, the noise did not matter, when I closed the window. Good value for money.
This is just for your information. Note that no air conditioner was equipped and there was just a fan, if you are intolerant for heat.
Another great stay here on the way to visit family. Staff extremely friendly as always, location ideal, clean and comfy and the Superior room was massive. Worth the small price bump.
Great location, a few minutes from the main train station. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Could provide tea/coffee facility in each room.
The location is across the street from the Dresden Neustadt train station. It is within walking distance to many restaurants. Just a 15 minute walk to the center of town. The room is larger than expected. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The train tracks across the street can be loud in the morning. They use regular metal keys instead of electronic key cards.
I loved the breakfast, comfort and old fashioned feel of the hotel. It reminded me a bit of Bavaria and an Alpine Lodge, even in the city of Dresden. I'd come back here. The staff was also very kind to me, allowing me to stay in the lobby well after I had checked out.
I think the bathroom could use a few more mats and towels.
The staff were very considerate of our needs travelling with a 3 year old and made us very comfortable, including with very helpful communication in advance and during our stay. Wonderful breakfast. I look forward to stay again!
Beautiful surroundings! Great dinner!
Thought our room was in the castle - VERY disappointed we were in a plain hotel!
Lots to like. Loved having a bedroom and a separate living area with couch, table, and arm chair with lots of space to do exercises. Mega TV screen to watch Netflix (in both rooms!! ) Big plus having a bath, when most places only have a shower. Pleasant 15/20 min walk to get to the Neustadt or over the bridge to get to the Altstadt.. Double glazing so good all the road noise, sirens, trains etc were blocked out. Magnificent breakfast. No way anyone could complain about lack of choice.!! We stayed 6 nights and there were different choices each day.
Just because I'm a Brit....no kettle in room. But that's most places in Germany it would seem.Loved the salmon but didn't get it everyday.
Really stylish specious room with great view Secure parking in backyard Kind staffVery clean Quiet and comfortable Highly recommended
That I didn’t stay longer
Very clean and comfortable. Location beside the train station.
No tea/facilities in bedroom
The rooms are large, beautifully decorated, the bathroom is large and comfortable, the reception was excellent, the staff are polite and friendly and make you feel welcome, the breakfast was excellent too!
Overall I liked everything, but I would say that one point that could be improved is the cleaning service, the glasses were dirty, but the reception changed the glasses as soon as we asked so it was fine, I also available
Very close to Dresden-Neustadt station, spacious room, clean, friendly staff, beautiful interior and design
Tea/coffee making facility in the room would be nice
