Great location if you want to travel around, the place is next to the train stop. The room has basic facilities, the bathroom is spacious, breakfast is really good

Breakfast was quite good and had a nice variety.The hotel is close to the city center but in a quiet area.The room was quiet.The staff were polite and helpful.Wi-Fi worked well.

- The reception staff doesn’t speak English — really inconvenient in a tourist city.- My first room had broken heating, and in the second room the lamp broke right away.- The floor was cold, no carpets, and the bathroom lacked basic necessities. According to the info sheet, you have to call for them every time — honestly, that’s tiring.- They asked for a 50-euro deposit at check-in. Strange, considering there was no expensive furniture in the room. Small, but annoying. Completely surprising.- Cleaning and towel changes happen every other day; fresh towels were only brought when I asked, which is really unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.

At 4:00 AM that night, a full alarm was declared and the hotel was evacuated.

The Holiday Inn Dresden Am Zwinger is a great place to stay in our opinion. It is very close to the Zwinger Palace and park and to the beautiful centre of Dresden. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were cheerful and very helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally good and the hotel's restaurant served a good selection of delicious food in the evening as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dresden.

Water leaked under the shower door but the manager said that this problem is being addressed and the hotel is in the process of replacing all the shower doors.

The hotel is near to the major sights in Dresden. Even though our room faced the street it was very quiet. The room was spacious with a large bathroom. The morning we left to catch an early train they even provided a box lunch for us as we had paid for breakfasts.

In Europe you have to get used to bathroom without wash clothes. I still prefer real bars of soap to the liquid variety.

Location brilliant. Good breakfast selection.

No tea spoon in the bedroom and understand reason for reduced room service however replenishment of tea tray daily and clean mugs would have been nice.

We were unlucky with parking as hotel was very busy however parking is free from Sat evening until Sun evening in surrounding area.

Close to the old town, comfortable bed, liked that there was a bottle of water and a kettle in the room. Breakfast was classic, wide choice, there was also the possibility to get prosecco.

Paid parking, there may not be enough space.

Rooms are clean, breakfast was pretty good, location just a few walking from the center.
