- Breakfast Bathroom Sauna
- Clean rooms, nice drinks at the lobby. Location is optimal.
- The staff were amazing and extremely helpful, particularly Lucas. The rooms were large and clean. We had a wonderful time, thankyou. We did find the pool cool for our liking.
Cons -
- Nothing!!
- Shared access to the sauna and swimming pool with a fitness club might be an issue if you're with kids. No free parking for guests might be an issue. But there is an alternative nearby and not as expensive as in a hotel. .
- The pillows were way too thin. An extra thin pillow was provided but did not help the lack of fluffiness of a pillow. Cleaning crew knocked around 8:00am at door on the day of check out. Rude!!!

Nothing!!
The location is very convenient. Good option to stay for a few days as a City break hotel. It is clean, breakfasts are ok. You have a swimming pool and access to sauna.

Conveniently located. Parking available. Number of amenities offered.

The hotel is just outside of the main Alstadt-- about 15 min walk. The staff was so friendly--esp. Renata. Parking was super easy. Breakfast was very lovely.
The hotel is dated but very clean. The beds could be a bit softer.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights just before Christmas and were very happy that we chose this place. The location is excellent: the Old Town is about a 7-minute walk away, and for those who don’t like walking, there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel entrance. There is also a large park nearby and many great places for walks. If you are traveling by car, there is a large parking area behind the hotel for €7 per day (make sure to have coins). The hotel itself is cozy, well-maintained, and very clean. Our room was spacious and spotless. The hotel is dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. There were many guests with dogs, and they are even welcome at breakfast - they are simply seated in a separate area from the main dining room.Breakfast deserves special mention - it was absolutely amazing! A huge variety of options and everything was delicious. Honestly, it felt like the best breakfasts we’ve had during all our travels. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful, both at the reception and in the restaurant. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
Breakfast, location and service
Outdated furniture, a strange shelf over the pillow in the bed
The hotel offers a great breakfast and the staff are very attentive, they even prepare lactose-free coffee upon request. Parking is convenient and there is a swimming pool available. The room is okay, while the bathroom is very nice and well maintained. The location is also excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Christmas markets.
The room can be quite noisy, mainly due to sounds from the hallway. The pillows are very flat, even when using two, which makes sleeping less comfortable, although the bed itself is good.
The hotel is in the style of a guesthouse from 1980s in East Germany. It would appeal to guests who enjoy the aesthetics of Soviet and East Germany. The sofa in the room can be transformed into a large and soft bed for free, so this hotel is suitable for family or friends travelling up to 2-3 people. The facilities are a little old but very comfortable and clean. The heating is very warm in winter. The breakfast variety is rich for east-Asians who prefer hot food.
The location is a little far away from the old town with about 20 mins walking journey. But Dresden is a small town, so it's fine at all.
Nice hotel very close to Altstadt. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds, amazing breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a pool which is a nice bonus.
Sometimes we struggled with the key card/lock in our room as it got stucked.
The staff was absolutely lovely and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area. The hotel is within walking distance of the Old Town and several shopping centers. Although it’s located on a main road, the rooms are perfectly quiet — we didn’t hear a thing. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant stay.
Conveniently close to the historical center yet in quiet location outside of the crowds. Easy parking lot nearby. Tram station right in front of the hotel door. Very pleasant communication with front desk staff.
I would suggest a power socket extention on the night table, or more sockets on the working desk. These days there is plenty of things to charge overnight. Sunday morning there was no sauna in the aqua lounge, yet the entrance fee was the same.
We totally loved our stay at the Dorint hotel. It was easy to find, the staff was very helpful, the family room was not that big, but more than enough for me and my 3 kids. The beds and pillows were comfortable, even the sofa bed was very comfortable .. which is not always the case in other hotels. The spa was nice and there is a very nice lady who takes care of it and even checks the quality of the water to be sure that everything is as it should be. And the Breakfast! I give it a 11/10 for the variety of choices of warm or cold, salty or sweet things. There is a pancake machine (kids loved it) and if you want something special with the eggs, you can ask for it. That's cool !! Be sure to ask for the breakfast end time, though, because we arrived on a weekend and on the following monday, it ended earlier. Hopefully we arrived a few minutes before the end and the staff gently let us know to serve ourselves as much as possible because they were about to close. Nice touch

Unfortunately nothing
The wellness area is available for the public gym next door. So, all macho men are loud, using their water bottles and mobile phones. Not a place to sit in the sauna because it was full with 20 men. Pure horror, and no respect for the respectfull wellness rules. After a hard day at work pure disappointment. The front desk receptionist is aware of these problems but making money is more important. I won’t go back here! Carpet on the floor in all roomsParking was fullNo refund or solution after my complaint
Very good location and the breakfast is very good.
The hotel room looks a bit old. It has everything that you need, though.
Central location not far away from the city center.
Pool, sauna, and bathrobe cost extra and are not included. There was mold in the shower cabin.
Comfortable, very clean and excellent breakfast included
We had to asking for tea making kettle and cups as did not have in our room . A nice receptionist sorted that for us. Our room did not have a fridge either which I would expect for 4 star place to have . There was a boarded up cupboard which probably housed one but had been removed
Comfort and style. Nice atmosphere in bar. Garage for secure parking, however comes at a price.
Quite a wait to check . Paying €24 for parking.
