Pros +
- Lovely quiet spot with nice cafe and restaurants.
- The comfort, quiet, the beautiful and tasteful surroundings, the staff.
- The hotel is overall very nice and located in a calm corner right in the heart of the city. Our bed was very large and comfy, the bathroom was also spacious and great. The rooms are equipped adequately. The staff is helpful (we had several small requests and they were fulfilled efficiently).
Cons -
- The breakfast is decent, but very underwhelming for the price. By the way, it is not per room but per person. The staff, although helpful, can be a bit grumpy. And we didn't appreciate the request to "see a credit card" during check in although the stay was paid for beforehand.
- We arrived after 5 pm and it was a little confusing to check in because we had to go to another hotel. There were no signs explaining this so the staff saw us and helped.

really spacious room. Excellent located , calm and friendly personal. Really to recommend.
An excellent hotel in a very nice quiet area, a 10-15 minute walk over the river to Old Town. A tram stop is also nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable, with very nice furnishings and flooring. Extra clean. Very nice, helpful staff. Breakfast was better than other similar hotels. Non-touristy restaurants nearby. A good value for this quality hotel.

We were very satisfied with our one night stay. The staff from the front desk to the breakfast crew, were very professional and pleasant. I got a great restaurant recommendation from the staff, thank you!

Lovely room but small bathroom. Decor in hotel was beautiful.
Had to check in at a different hotel. Restaurant and bar also at different hotel. Breakfast was expensive and poor, particularly for food allergies
Central, peaceful location, close to everything we wanted to visit.
Very happy with everything.
The staff was very friendly. The room spacious and clean. The location super

We loved the layout of the hotel. An old home turned into a beautiful hotel. Walking distance to the best Christmas market in Germany. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
The parking is located down the street at the sister hotel. But we could load and unload in front of the Romantic Hotel Bulow.
The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and efficient. We were one block from Augustus Christmas holiday market. It had the best breakfast on our trip of three cities. When you start off your day, we a glass of Proseco, what more can you ask for?
The hotel was not staffed by a receptionist in the early morning hours when we needed to check out and secure a taxi to the train station. Having to walk to their sister hotel was not good,
I love the old-world charm and restful, quiet atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was the highlight of every morning. The food was gorgeous. Lovely young server to bring the coffee, eggs, and whatever else we needed. She also organised extra coffee the one morning when I had some work to do. It was much appreciated because I could see it was not a regular request, which was strange.
We were off to a rocky start. The young man at the desk, handing us our key (lovely old real keys still), sent us to the wrong room. Someone's open suitcase was right at the door when I unlocked it. Luckily, there was no one to be seen in an embarrassing state of dress! Then we found out that, from 6 pm onwards, there would be no one at the desk, we'd had to let ourselves in, and the hotel would seem a bit eerie when we came in at night. We'd have to ring the main hotel to open the door, let ourselves in, etc. We'd have to take the car down to the parking of the main hotel. We'd have to go for breakfast at the main hotel. Everything would be there while we were booked here. We would like to know this beforehand - not on the spot when we arrive. It should be our prerogative to decide whether we're okay with it and choose another hotel if not. This all changed when we got the correct room key. Breakfast would suddenly be served in the breakfast room downstairs. I'm still wondering why.On the first evening, the door didn't work. Someone came to open it for us, but she couldn't do it either because the door was faulty, and we weren't stupid tourists, after all. She had to use my phone to call the hotel to send someone else to bring the key... We weren't impressed. That was the last of the troubles, though. They left the door open in the evening, and the rest were smooth sailing. When we left this morning, it was with a smile and a decision to return when in Dresden next time.
I should say that in fact we were upgraded to the Bulow Palais next door: all my comments therefore relate to that. The Bulow Palais breakfast is superb: everything you want.
I found the jams a bit odd and could have done with something like marmalade or apricot rather than the interesting but perhaps a little too odd ones which were on offer - but they were superbly made.
Room was very clean, location is perfect only 3 stations from city center by tram. Elegant neighborhood.
everything was perfect
