I liked how clean and tidy it was

It was really cold, and there wasn't enough heating or blankets.

The staff is not nice, does not speak in english well at the reception and they laugh in your face when you need something, I do not recommand it.

They said they were closing the sauna next week but when we got there it was closed early. It was the reason we chose this hotel over another (which had a much better location) and in the end it didn't matter.

Ample car parking (€16), sauna facilities, overall room (mini fridge was on and cold with 1 complementary water inside). Beds were good, curtains blocked enough light, windows could be opened.

Unfortunately, presumably a cleaning lady decided to knock and enter our room at around 8am on the day of our check out, and then once again at 10:30. Check out time is at midday. The first time woke us both up, so that really ruined the experience. It is unbelievable that this should happen in a Marriott - it's not that hard to only knock and enter rooms which have checked out, or after check out time. I would not stay somewhere again where this happens. Otherwise the pool, gym + sauna is a bit of a walk with stairs. The gym is a bit smaller and the equipment is outdated, so you can almost train all muscle groups and do a bit of cardio in an emergency (no pull ups, pulling machine range adjustment was broken). The reception has large plastic screens hanging between you and the staff, which meant that I couldn't hear/understand a lot of things they said, and in my view is ridiculous even during the pandemic, never mind now. The hotel is outside the centre. It's not a terrible location with the tram but just to bear in mind. They have no restaurant on Sundays, and generally no room service, but we ate at a really relaxed and authentic Cuban place down the road which I would recommend.

It was a nice location with comfortable parking (which is amazing if you travel by car) and nice restaurants in few-minutes-walk. Additionally, rooms were comfortable and breakfast was fine.

Both a large supermarket and a nice Greek restaurant are within walking distace in 5min. Breakfast is good.

Well location is a bit far from everything but it didn't matter to me.

As good as it was, breakfast was too expensive.I had booked one night on points; when I told front desk that I wanted to extend my stay another night, they did not tell me that the point status would not carry over.

The hotel is simply furnished. Especially the lounges including the dining room is extremely sober and spartan. An interior decorator would urgently have to take a closer look at the hotel... Location is for Dresden max. a B minus...

The breakfast staff was phenomenal. Very friendly even when it was very busy. The omelette was great.

The front desk staff. I’m an American living in Germany and can’t speak any German, but was asked to complete the check in in German. Also, when I called down to be transferred to a friends room, he instead provided me with my friends room number to call. Certainly ruined my buddies confidentially and privacy since I now know exactly where he sleeps. When we scheduled the pool, we were not offered any bathrobes or towels while another family that was at the pool with us was offered a complete kit. When I asked the front desk, they said we should’ve asked for such a kit. The family that was with us was completely unaware of said kit and was offered when they scheduled the pool use. I felt very discrimated against and will never return to such an establishment.

Staff was unhelpful and rude restaurant service was terrible and food was average.
