Good Breakfast. Excellent Location

Terrible Check-in experience. I booked on Friday Sep 8 at about 6pm for one night. I live approx. 3 hours drive from hotel Doria. I include as special request check-in between 22 and 23. They take my money immediately (transaction goes through) so I start my drive to get there. I get outside the hotel at 22.05. The hotel is completely dark. There is a handwritten note on the door only in ITALIAN (note most of the guests we met next day at breakfast were not Italian) with a phone number. I called the number and explained the situation. The Lady who answered informed me very rudely that check-in is allowed no later than 21pm (this of course is not written anywhere in the booking process) and that they did not receive my booking prior to leaving (remember they had already taken my money). After 10 minutes she was back at the hotel and let us in. I would not have made this negative comment and complaint (she came back to let us in after all) if not for the following: at 10.30 pm (when we were already set in our small room) she replied via email to my request declining the possibility of late check-in (see pic below)????? UNBELIEVABLE!! Bottom line is that for the price we paid (market price), the hotel should have 24/7 reception staff or at least self check-in possibility.

A bit far away and isolated from the main attraction of Garda See (20 minutes with car)

Decent place to stay near Lake Garda at a reasonable price. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Location a bit far from the lake. Requires an uphill hike for those reaching Torbole on a ferry. Also air-conditioning does not work properly.

The personnel, especially the owner, is very hospitable and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. There is free parking space on a private property (unguarded).

The bathroom was quite small. The hotel is located in a narrow street, so unpacking and packing luggagage from/to a car is a challenge, because most likely you will stand in a way of a passing car. There is no air conditioning. The lake is not that far, but the height difference is big.

I make this evaluation after two stays in this hotel. One on winter and one on summer. Both times the staff is very hospitable and helpful. The rooms both times were perfectly clean. Good breakfast. Wifi works great. The hotel while it doesnt have parking on its own there is parking where you can park during the night for free like 3 minutes away.(during the day there is a small fee)

nago is a nice village, if you are away from main street - hiking hills (mountains) are very near - great view to lago !

Cute hotel with an ample breakfast. The owner is a lovely lady who does her utmost to make your stay satisfactory and comfortable. The free parking is an extra asset. Thank you. Will not hesitate to stay there again when in the area.

small cozy place, perfect locations, great staff very nice and friendly, clean and tidy, for the price we paid it was worth it, I will definitely go back there again.

The room was quite large, the bathroom spacious. Location suitable for traveling by car, to the surrounding towns it is a few minutes. Breakfast buffet, some things change that day to day. Staff very friendly.

Parking was possible only on public parkings, not far from hotel but very difficult to find free space during the day. The room could probably be tidy a little better, especially in the bathroom we saw some hair.

Lack of Air Conditioning on the second room

No opulent breakfast, but very funktional for sportive people. I got what I need - perfect. Rooms are not beautiful - but you get everything, you need. Strong hot shower, very clean, USB-loading, TV, little key-card and not a heavy key. Elevator and nice advice, if you need. Parking place not to far away (200m).

Everything was okay.

The location is perfect there are supermarkets and restaurants around, everybody was really helpful. They clean rooms everyday. Breakfast was great. Last day we left very early in the morning before breakfast time and they prepared sandwiches for us with a banana and water. It was lovely. Next time we will stay there again!
