Lake Hotel Benaco

Very good breakfast with lots of options.Staff was wonderful and the location is great.Decor is very nice, like an art gallery, lovely paintings everywhere.

Old but nice hotel, direct on the lake. The room was just big enough for one person.

As a hotel guest you are not allowed to sit at the hotel restaurant terrace if you are not ordering food. That ruined a lot of hospitality...

A perfect location in the center of Riva del Garda. The apartment was clean and comfortable.The breakfast provided was good.

- The air conditioning was not good and did not cool the room effectively- The furniture and overall decor are quite dated

Multi lingual super friendly staff. Clean room and very comfortable beds. Superb location. Pet friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet ? We will be back ??

Parking was tricky.

Very clean, comfortable hotel, the staff were very helpful. Lovely breakfast, and great restaurant for meals in the evening. Beautiful location. Transport is very accessible.

Good location. Breakfast easy self service with plenty of choice to suit all. Restaurant area very presentable and food to high standard. Observed hotel staff diligently going about daily routines. House maintenance team definitely add value to hotel. Room very clean.

Room decor a little seasoned maybe a little spruce during off season. Soft mattress.

Hotel Benaco is right on the lake. We had a very comfortable room with a balcony looking down the lake. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was extremely quiet at night. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to have an excellent breakfast included in the price. When we left the owner gave us a pot of local honey. What’s not to ?

We loved everything about it! Location, comfort, spaciousness, quiet, great staff, fabulous breakfast…. I would definitely stay there again.

Charming hotel in a great location (by the lake and in the city center). The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was available for a fee near the hotel at public parking spots or in the hotel's parking lots, one of which was next to the hotel (€18 per day) and the other further away (€9 per day). If you spend the day hiking and come back only in the afternoon and leave early, the cheapest option is to park at the public parking spots by the lake, where parking is free at night. We mostly used this option, only once leaving the car in the €9 hotel parking lot (about 600 meters from the hotel). Breakfast was plentiful and included both savory and sweet options. We liked that the hotel had a good value-for-money restaurant where we could have dinner. However, if desired, there are many other dining options nearby. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Great location, excellent breakfast, lovely room with a great shower. Safe parking for the motorcycle too, we would stay again.

We enjoyed the view from our superior room balconies. We had the windows open all night and the noise was minimal this time of year. I noticed the air conditioner and ceiling fan which I think are wonderful for the summer. Our bed was very comfortable.The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the breakfast room welcoming!The terrace area with whirlpool/hot tub is very inviting. I used the hot tub on the morning of departure, but it was not very hot (930am). Perhaps it needed more time to heat.I recommend the hotel and area to anyone. We walked along the shore of the lake and will return with bikes.

More access to the whirlpool (hours) and hotter temperature.

Very very nice hotel! Very well maintained hotel, clean and comfortable. I felt as in a nice 4 stars hotel. The view was spectacular and the location perfect. Fabulous breakfast with anything you may want. Still family owned with the owners looking out for everything. I will definitely come back! Thank you!

I've stayed here before and enjoyed it every time. The restaurant is good, the Breakfast is good and if you travel by Motorcycle, you can park basically in front of the Hotel on the numerous reserved Bike spots.

No complaints

The room is quite spacious and features a very comfortable mattress. Additionally, the bathroom is also quite roomy.The staff was really nice and the breakfast had a good selection of options.

The pillows need improvement, and there is no dedicated parking lot.
