Pros +
- The Valdenza is a better hotel than you might expect to find in a village as small as Caprara. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Plenty of parking. The associated restaurant/pizzeria provided a convenient place to dine.
- Perfect stay, delicious dinner, the most heavenly chantilly dessert I have ever eaten, abundant and fresh breakfast including eggs, pastries and cakes. Easy access from A1 and friendly staff. They even let us use Wifi in the lounge after checkout time. We often travel needing a good stopover near Parma. we will make Valdenza our hotel of choice on each trip. There was a large sports team of Polish teens and we had no noise problems. Highly recommend!
- Large room
Cons -
- The only chair had broken legs! Breakfast was poor.
- Hotel needs freshening up.
- For travellers it would be good to have a kettle with tea and coffee in the room, this would bring the hotel up to date.

they claim to be a 4 star hotel, but they are not even 2 star. the shower doesn't have a hand gun. Which hotel has showers like that. the carpets in the room and in the corridors are so dirty and everywhere in the hotel, there is amoke smell. The air conditioners didn't work at all. We're sweating through the night.. Had to open the windows for breeze eventually. It was a difficult stay. The only good part was breakfast, but with a grumpy waitress
The staff are wonderfully engaged and helpful. The lady at the reception gave us great suggestions for our further travel and things to do in the area. Pet-friendliness is also appreciated.
Hotel needs freshening up.
Very clean would have been a glamorous hotel years ago, breakfast was really good and excellent value for money. Staff very friendly.

Quite location, big private car park, decent size rooms with bathrooms and working air conditioning. Good breakfast with wide variety of choice. We asked for some gluten free bakery and it was sorted out without problem.
Nowadays leaving passports at the reception desk should not take place. There was seven of us and we had to leave all the passports for an hour with receptionist. Don't like that.We arrived around 8 o'clock and been told that the restaurant is already closed.
Comfortable beds
Noisy plumbing from other guests toilet flushing etc. Floor not clean. Hairs everywhere
I’d sooner not comment
Difficulty in finding rude staff breakfast was great.
Breakfast was good, with eegs, bacon and so on.Location is very comfortable while traveling.Very reasonable price
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Secure parking. Godd restaurant on site serving good local food.
Hotel is in a silent place.
Shower wasn't clean, there were plenty of hair on the floor. No soap inside the bathroom. When we tell this one before leaving; reception told us there is lack of stuff. Shower head is fixed on the top that you can't move and it was clogged with lime.
Price and size of room
Carpet on room floor not really modern..
Friendly reception staff and the room was quite comfortable.
Bathroom was a bit dirty with hairs of the last guest and unfriendly breakfast server she looked like we were bothering her.
Best thing in this hotel - its location. The rest was reasonable.
Pets are allowed there. One dog howled and whined in the next room and it was unpleasant.
Very roomy, comfortable. Great service. Staff very helpful.
?
Room big enough for three people. Secure parking. Breakfast ok. good for one night transfer.
very remote. although called 4 star, but no services (even no dinner, no restaurant). Only fixed shower, not convenient.
Spacious room, good breakfast and coffee. Convenient stop on the A1 motorway when traveling north. I appreciated that the reception was open when I arrived at the hotel at 02:00am at night
Everything was perfect. The food in the attached restaurant is amazing. The restaurant also specialises in gluten free fresh pasta! Parking within the hotel grounds. Not far from the motorway. Great stop off point. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Perfect location, not far from the motorway yet quiet. Friendly staff and good breakfast
