Pros +

  • We arrived slightly skeptical due to some of the reviews, but the price we found on Booking was just too good to ignore. To our surprise, the hotel delivered much more than expected! Our room was spacious and extremely clean, with a gorgeous view over Lake Garda. The furnishings weren’t brand new, but everything was well kept, and the bathroom had clearly been renovated recently. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout our stay. After a week of camping in the Dolomites, the wellness area felt like pure heaven. The pool is large (around 17m lenght) and very warm - almost too warm for swimming laps, but fantastic for relaxing. Add to that the whirlpool, heated chairs, and sauna, and it was exactly what we needed. Yes, some repairs could improve the space, but this didn’t affect our enjoyment.Food was another highlight. For €15 per person, dinner included a varied and tasty buffet with salads, soups, pasta, desserts, and even fresh fish dishes each night. Breakfast was just as good - generous, fresh, and filling. We also have to mention the staff, who were genuinely welcoming and kind. Special thanks to Bogdan at the reception and Georgiana in the restaurant for their warmth and professionalism. This hotel turned out to be a hidden gem - fantastic value for money, set in a stunning spot above Lago di Garda, in the peaceful village of San Zeno di Montagna. We would gladly return!

  • The view was lovely.

Cons -

  • The hotel building and facilities feel a bit old, but it feels that they renew it slowly. The king size bed was two small beds, and it's not so comfort
  • No Air conNoisy room. The facilities were poorly maintained. My son stood on a dirty nail that embedded deeply into his foot due to poorly maintained timbers in the sauna. No first aid or apology was offered. He was in a lot of pain. Noise largely due to duty slamming doors, Guests do not realise they have to tap the lock with their key card to allow the door to close quietly.
  • The hotel is worn out. Shelters groups. The breakfast buffet was horrible. The worst of all, the so called cappuccino from the machine. Italy unworthy!

Not a lot.

The hotel is worn out. Shelters groups. The breakfast buffet was horrible. The worst of all, the so called cappuccino from the machine. Italy unworthy!

Lovely view of Lake Garda from the hotel

The hotel is dated. The style of decor is 60s.

Wellness

There were a lot of ants in our room. We had to change our room, in the new one were they too. So we took the third one and there were ants as well but not so much like in the others. Breakfast was every day the same.

We liked that there were swimming pool and sauna. We liked that it's relatively close to jungle adventure park. We liked the breakfast. There is nice view.

The staff didn't tell us we needed to book in advance place n the hotel dinner. The swimming pool area isn't clean, there is many dead and alive spiders and flies.

Great Location up the mountain overlooking the Lake staff where great and food was OK too. Rooms where of a good size and as we where only staying a night we didn't get to use the Spa facility , which was included in the price. A good traditional Italian Hotel.

When we got there the temperature was hitting 38' and the humidity was high, what we failed to miss when booking is that the rooms do not have AC ! and there where no Fans in the rooms ether, we booked three rooms and had to ask at reception for fans, they said they only had two left as the hotel was full and everyone was asking for them, that left my daughters room without a fan and she had a very uncomfortable night. Id suggest that the Hotel invests in a fan for each room knowing that there customers need them. As we where there only a night no drama.

View was spectacular. 500 Germans waking us up wheeling their bags to the bus each morning. The staff were awesome and helpful and location is peaceful and walk to town is wonderful close walk.

Liked the view sauna and wellness area. My partner didn’t like the bug that entered his ear and wanted to eat his brain. That was terrifying but the staff were amazing help.

Beautiful views and amazing facilities - including jacuzzi, indoor pool, gym, parking. The room was also very spacious, comfortable and quiet. Good location in terms of proximity to the town, restaurants, etc. Very nice environment around the hotel for relaxation.

The staff was always busy when we stopped by at the reception and not very accommodating to our requests. For example, upon asking about gluten free options for dinner we were told that they cannot accommodate a gluten free meal as they have too many guests and cannot cook for one. There was gluten free bread and muffins for breakfast but the buffet options (cheeses, ham, musli, etc.) were limited for a celiac.
