H2 Hotel Leipzig

Great modern style, very close to Hauphtbahnof, practically you cross the street from the closest station entrance and you are right at the hotel entrance. Staff is friendly and they speak English well. The best part is breakfast, croissants are heavenly delicious. Staff were helpful in giving us extra time for checkout, and afterwards stowing our luggage for another hour. If I ever visited Leipzig again, I shall book this place.

We were a group of 4, so the room we got had 4 bunk beds. Not a familiar concept for a North American traveller, but it was not all that bad.

Location, location, location

Definitely need to replace pillows. Need to clean, paint, and replace wallpaper. Honestly had rough nights due to very poor quality and uncomfortable pillows.

Very good location, walking distance to the city centre and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was very convenient, next to the central train station. The room was smaller than expected but equipped modern. However, the heating system didn't work in the first day AND night. The system blew really cold air instead of warm, like an A/C. I tried all settings but it wouldn't work properly. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. The cold cuts and cheese selection was only basic.

I didn't like the fact that we had to stay in the cold during our first night, even though I reached the reception twice to solve the problem. The offer to change the room in the middle of the night was not an option as I was travelling alone with a small child. The heating was fixed only the second day.

Our room smells like dirty socks… we couldn’t air out the room since we can’t open the windows.

Perfect location, comfortable beds, everything was very clean and good choice at breakfast.

The location was good near to the central railway station and city centre. The staff at the breakfast was very kind. Puplic areas were also clean and tidy.

My room was kind of a dissappointment for me comparing to the pictures on the website. In the pictures it looks like the rooms have very good lightning and wall-sized windows. My room was kinda dark with a much smaller window. The views were only to the next building. I felt like it was a little bit dusty. It wasn’t the most expensive hotel available, so I guess it’s lined up with the price, but I was still a little bit dissappointed.

A nice new hotel with a great location. Despite being close to the train station, you have an opportunity to ask for an inside-facing room, which will be really quiet. The breakfast was good, and there is a possibility to get some hot water for your tea free of charge right in front of the elevator on the ground floor

Despite being new, there are some quirks I didn't quite like. For example, one of the towels was really dirty, I had no problems asking for a new one at the reception, but I wish I had found it sooner rather than after taking a shower. The TV is mounted in a niche that doesn't allow you to connect your device via an HDMI cable, but the worst thing about it is that the sound bounces inside this niche, so the sound quality is terrible.

Don’t look at any other hotels-THIS is where you should stay in Leipzig-especially if you are riding the train. Exit left of the train station and it’s a 5 minute walk. The check-in staff are friendly and efficient. The room is modern, comfortable twin beds, beautiful bathroom and even have little floor light sensors by the nightstands if you wake up at night and need to use the toilet. AC was great too. There was a humongous metal window you could open if you want fresh air. Plenty of charging ports. Clean and modern hallways, elevator, fun and large signage, and beautiful lobby. BUT I’m not done-THE breakfast! I wish I brought my camera! So many choices, things I’ve never seen before like tiny ice cream cone cups to store Nutella. What a selection! The staff work hard here. It’s a lovely hotel for a reasonable price! BOOK here!

Clean hotel. Rooms adequate size. Breakfast good with plenty of choices.

No cleaning or even bins emptied during our 3 night stay. If we needed towels, pillows or even toilet rolls we had to go down to reception as no phone in the room. As we were on the 6th floor it was not ideal. We asked for an extra pillow which was going to be sent to our room but after an hour of waiting my husband went downstairs to collect, the lady had forgotten. No wardrobe or drawers in the room or even a table and chair. 2 hangers on hooks and a high shelf to put things on, we kept most of our clothes in our suitcases. As we paid €121 per night it was very overpriced. We had read reviews before hand but not true description.

This is the seventh time I go to this city for the WGT festival. Year after year the prices for all hotels are raising more and more, it is getting out of hand.

Perfect location, clean, stylish and well maintained rooms, tasty breakfast.

Bistro selection is limited for dinner. Bed was a bit narrow and short for my size but my kids loved the bunk beds.

The hotel looks very new. Although the rooms had bunk beds, they were still very comfortable and gave more space to the room. The linens and beds were super clean and the control of the room lights is very convenient.The location is great, right next to the train station and at a walking distance from the city center. It doesn't have an owned parking place but there's a paid parking space right next to the hotel, and it's not too expensive for keeping the car overnight.The breakfast is included with the price and it's very nice, with good variety of food and drinks, perfect for a family.

Great location, comfortable, cheap but nice beer in the bar in lounge.

There were no pillow cases in the room and the AC didn't turn on. Apart from those two issues, the hotel is very nice, in an excellent location with friendly staff

Perfect central location. Very nice bathroom and shower.

The bed was somewhat uncomfortable and the pillow was way too soft, although I think I could have asked for another pillow at the reception. It was a shame that it were two single beds.
