Balance Hotel Leipzig Alte Messe

Excellent Hotel for the Price. It is an older but very clean. Staff friendly and professional. The rooms are generous with a real wardrobe and coat hangers . Beds comfortable. Parking on the street.

not trust worthy hotel

I selectd queen bedroom and also sent an email to the hotel many days before arrival. when arriving recption confirmed that bed is big sixe as selected but the surprise that what i found is two small beds.after calling the same lady at reception to try to understand why its different despite of her confirmation about the queen bed. She tried to scape away from her statment and calim will check IF there is available room with queen bed. after awhile, she claimed again there is no queen bedroom.they didnt offer any compensation, and no sorry.that will remain shocking for me.

Very neat and clean

Staffs were not friendly enough and no smoking zone, the cold killed me to go out everytime.

I really like the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. And most importantly it was very clean.

Very convenient location away from the city centre but close to tram stop - 15 minutes to city centre. Large underground car park. Large room with sofa and armchair. Had a large kettle and tea/ coffee.

No air conditioning. Noisy fan.

Location

6th floor rooms require a separate flight of stairs. Few power outlets for recharging devices and most are coupled with overhead lights, so there are few options available to charge devices without also leaving the lights on.

The hotel is really nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful (something rare in germany). THe room is big and well equipied. Beds are confortable and perfectly for a business or tourism stay. I really loved and its my second time in this hotel! loved!

all was well!

On my outward stay, my first floor room was spacious and comfortable. On this homeward stay my third floor room was decidedly average in several ways.

The room was smaller than on previous visits and I didn't like the shower. Check what you're getting! However, this is a nice hotel and it's worth choosing a breakfast included option if it is not too much more.

A traditional hotel with spacious rooms and good facilities. About 25 minutes from Leipzig city centre by tram with complimentary travel tickets from the hotel, which are also valid for the S-Bahn from Stötteritz. Although the hotel is in a built-up area, nearby Stötteritz has a village feel with a choice of supermarkets. Street parking is available or there is a hotel car park for an extra charge. Breakfasts are good with plenty of choice. Friendly welcome from Nicole and the restaurant manager. Most staff speak English.

Immediate location might not suit everyone, especially if you want a city centre vibe but all that is easily accessible.

Very pleasant atmosphere, nice room, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was not included but was good for the price. The staff was helpful, especially in helping out with the vending machines for wine/beer.

WiFi was slow/poor in my room.

Great location, free parking on the street, comfy bed.

We didn't get a room with a balcony which I had booked and the ladies at the reception weren't helpful with change at all. They basically said not all of the rooms are with a balcony and there weren't any free.

Very conveniently situated for Stötteritz and good tram and train connections to city centre - travel pass provided by the hotel.

We did not use any facilities outside our room owing to the proximity of our family.

Immaculate house-keeping. Easy access to streetcar and S-Bahn. Great breakfast buffet.

Clean and quiet. Nice location. Laundry and grocery store within walking distance

Beds were a little stiff but put extra bedding down and was fine

Comfy and clean facilities to feel „at home“ and relax.

Minor topic: cushions too soft for one of us.

Excellent breakfast, good room, and nice people and. Very good value for money. It is a good place to stay. I would qualify Balance Hotel a little old fashion.

Little far away from town center.

Location was perfect for our trip as we were visiting locally as well as the city centre. The addition of the travel ticket is great, the tram stop is only a few minutes away and therefore easy to travel in/out of the city centre. The room was comfortable, clean and in a quiet road. The staff were all very friendly and helpful which makes for a relaxing atmosphere. We will happily stay here again and would like to try the restaurant next time as it looked very good.

Just cosmetic. The decor is a bit dated but I wonder if this also adds to the appeal.Should not let this detract from booking a very lovely stay.
