Pros +
- No human interaction.Direct tram from the central train station.Clean beds, movable.Clean bathroom.
- Good location. Inexpensive. The room was run down, but ok and mostly clean. I had no problem with electronic check in.
- Room was cleaner than expected.
Cons -
- Bad window view.No electric kettle and glasses in the room.
- In the bathroom was an horrendous stink! One of the most disgusting experiences of my life. Like a direct connection to a sewer and incredibly strong. Truly disgusting. It was almost impossible to enter the batchroom, and if one had to do so only while holding the nose. I suspect something is wrong with the pipes. The room is not suitable for renting, at no price. It is entirely unacceptable to charge money for such room. It was simply distgusting.
- This morning, a staff member informed me that he needed to change the mattresses while I was out. I replied that I would prefer not to have them changed, but he just smiled without responding and left. When I returned, I found that the mattresses had been changed despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door.It feels quite disrespectful to proceed with such changes while a guest is still staying in the room, especially after the guest has clearly declined. What i also didn't like is that you couldn't smoke on the balcony. I had to go down each time in front of the building to smoke.

The size of the room. Easy access to the hotel. Staff responded to the call in email despite it being an automatic hotel.
The garage doesn't belong to the hotel, and no one could help me to open the door. It should have been open between 6-22 hours but the door was shut. The parking company did not respond to anything! I even tried online reservation: they took my money and the system still didn't recognize my license plate! If you go there with a motorcycle I would strongly recommend choosing another place. Streets didn't look safe to leave the bike out. If you move fast enough down the slope the system identifies you as a vehicle and you can open the door from inside. I will never ever go to a place with a fully automatic system again.
The room was clean.
Main concern was paid extras that I didn't receive: I paid extra before arriving for a neck support pillow, which I did not receive. Upon arrival, I saw a "refund" being processed on my banking app, so I didn't make a fuss about it (I thought they were refunding me for the pillow, since they didn't have one available). On the check out date I had a look what was the refund for and turned out that they've made a mistake and refunded me the wrong item - a City Tax (which was cheaper than a pillow). I wrote them an email notifying of this strange thing - that I got refunded a city tax amount and not the pillow which I didn't have in the room. A lady responded to me rudely (after some back and forth emails) that the pillow was in the room, and that was that. No explanation to anything. I let it go, since the cost of the pillow wasn't that much, and I did receive a "partial refund" in a city tax amount. But if you do request for some Extras, be aware that you might not get the service nor your money back. Other concerns: - you use the code to open the door, but the keypad is in German. If you don't understand, you have to problem-solve yourself, there's no one to help you. - One time my room didn't open. Keypad showed some reasoning in German which I didn't understand. Thankfully there were some cleaning ladies on the floor who opened the room for me. Not sure what happened there. That was the last time I needed to access the room, so I didn't investigate this further. But that would be a bummer if this happened when no one was around. - Lastly, there's no AC, which I didn't realize during booking. It was hot in the room (4th floor).
Clean spacious room on a good location. The neighborhood is charming and well connected to the center, with many options of restaurants and cafes around the hotel.
Self-checkin can be a bit tricky, although it finally worked. The whole experience was too impersonal, as there is no staff/reception at the hotel and WhatsApp messages were automated.
Very clean and new hotel
Matrace needs upgrading
Good value for money. Clean, close to lots of good & affordable restaurants. Street parking was available.
The mattresses not particularly comfortable.
Good
Check in was difficult! Took photo of my passport, file too big!
It was clean, in a good location, and very convinient.
The self-checkin device didn't work, so we had to comtact them to get our room number and our pin.
Room was spacious Easy for Travelling - Tram literally outside the hotel
Floors wasn't very clean and things were starting to look aged Cleaner didn't pop by either so we had no clean towels Entrance smelt like a hospital
Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Tram stop right outside. Easy to get into the city. Coffee, fresh bakert and breakfast shop literally next door to the hotel so the fact the hotel doesn't supply this is no problem. Perfect place for a one night stop over on our way to Prague. Parking easy too. Check in was so easy online and digital key sent on time. Couldn't have been easier. Had one issue with the door code at one point, sent an app and they sorted it with a new code pretty swiftly.
Check in and out was quick and easy.
Walls were thin, and the bed was not particularly comfortable for me. The room was very basic, literally a bed and a bathroom, which is ok, but I missed having access to a kettle for a morning coffee
Location was right on the tram stop, bed was so comfortable and room very clean. Also decent shower
On the whole everything was absolutely fine, but nit picking it would have been nice to have had coffee in the room
McDreams offers fair value for money. Rooms are spacious and decently furnished. The rooms with the view to the inner court yard are nice. Also, the digital key worked fine.
I would feel safer if the door to the floors were actually locked and not just open. Another minor thing was that there is no heating in the bathroom and that the fan kept running all night.
A few tram stations away from the main railway station, quiet area (except some construction works early morning), clean and nice room, spacious bathroom. The room is well heated, has TV and towels are provided. The check-in process is incredibly efficient. Very good value for money.
No fridge. I didn't really miss it this time because it was cold outside, but for the summer it would be a nice addition.
Clean, useful room configuration, including a simple desk to take meetings

Noisy, horrible bed, difficult check în, non respect of GDPR
The hotel is conveniently located, easy to reach with public transport. Due to the self-check-in you can check in at any time, after receiving the passcode. The passcode system works well, when you follow the clear instructions. I suggest you check in online beforehand, so that the passcode is sent to you before your arrival. The room was comfortable and clean.
The only downside is that the rooms are not very soundproof. You could not only hear the showers of the adjoining rooms but actually the entire conversation of the people in the neighboring rooms. Moreover, due to the key code system the doors close incredibly slowly but that was not much of a nuisance.
Given the price, this hotel was an excellent choice. The room was clean and spacious. Good wi-fi. Dozens of places to eat in the area.
The check-in was smooth, but I can imagine that it can be a little stressful. You'd better be sure you have a good internet service on your mobile phone. You need it to access your key.
