Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel Handelshof Leipzig

A beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable room. Nice big bathroom for two people. Helpful staff. Located in perfect place to walk to the historic sites, restaurants and music concerts.

The room was big and extremely comfortable! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel!

We only got to stay 1 night

The location the quality the decorator and space of the room . 2 sinks in the bathroom,a room to store your luggage in your room

Love this hotel. Beautiful, very comfortable, great beds, gorgeous bathrooms, perfect location.

Amazing spa and sauna. The air conditioning in the room was excellent. Very comfortable bed and room. Great staff.

Superb interiors, spacious room, fully fitted to luxury standards.

Workout area is minuscule, about 90% of the “center” was devoted to spa facilities. The workout area on Tuesday afternoon did not have any ventilation which was uncomfortable for the three of us. Front desk said no repairs were possible until thr next day. The facilities manager or his staff should walk these spaces daily.

Fantastic staff, friendly, attentive and welcoming. Clean and spacious rooms.

Nothing?

Fine

Beware - this hotel charged my card on arrival including hypothetical extras and again the real amount on departure. The initial payment has still not been refunded a week later.

A lovely comfortable room, friendly staff, good breakfast and the location could not be bettered. We found the room a little cold and the warm air from the AC made me cough - but that is my issue. Overall a really good stay and we’d be happy to return.

Very comfortable, slightly old-fashioned hotel but very well-appointed facilities. Excellent room service.

I received an e-mail a few days before the visit offering me an e-upgrade for a fee. But when I arrived, there was no upgrade and the reception staff didn't even seem to know about the scheme.

Location and overall its grandour

Restaurant was closed on the Tuesday

Good and clean Hotel

Breakfast and more employees at check-in (out) because no one wants to wait 15 minutes to check in or out

Conveniently located in the city centre. Professional and helpful staffs. Warm bathroom and great amenities.

Sensational bar service and cocktails. Great Breakfast.

Unfortunately no swimming pool or sauna.

We liked everything. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable, the decor was tasteful, and the location was perfect. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the setup was beautiful.

We enjoyed everything!

Comfortable and well designed room. Pleasant low lighting.Nice bar. When I arrived, and I realize my room faced the square I asked for a different room and they gave me a quieter room.

The restaurant is closed three days a week. there's actually hot food available in the bar area, but on the website it says it only has bar snacks so I made plans to have dinner elsewhere. The spa was closed.

The central location. The atmosphere of luxury and calm in the hotel.

Unfortunately the spa was closed during our stay. However we received a room upgrade once we expressed our disappointment .

Excellent location, staff very polite and friendly, excellent breakfast and very, very nice bar.

I was very disappointed that the sauna and spa area were under renovation. It was one of the main reasons I booked it and It wasn't mentioned on the Booking.com website. There were other hotels available with the facilities I wanted.

Room was spacious, excellent beds and bath room was very well equipped. Breakfast was very good. Location of the hotel is perfectly in the middle of Leipzig.

Beautiful hotel in a very good location.

Breakfast variety could be more. Sauna should be working.
