    Pros +

    • The location was wonderful, really central with easy parking nearby. Nice that they have a bar/cafè downstairs. The staff was kind and professional.
    • Nice hotel, friendly stuff. Olga was very helpful by organizing a transfer of luggage to the next hotel in my solo trek. I had to leave early so I missed breakfast, but was offered an alternative fare in the hotel's cafe.
    • The rooms are simple, but extremely clean and comfortable (and quite large!). We had a lovely balcony with an amazing view of the Alps. It might have been the fact that we visited in early March, but the place was nice and quiet (wonderful for a light sleeper like myself). I truly appreciated that we had plenty of pillows in the room, and didn't have to ask. The staff behind the bar and Olga at the reception are so lovely and friendly and helpful--we felt extremely comfortable and welcome. The location in the center of Monforte is beautiful. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

    Cons -

    • The breakfast was limited and the room was a bit dated.
    • Breakfast service could probably start earlier. The rooms are not airconditioned; it was not a major problem in my case, but an airconditioned room would have been nice in the hot week I was there.
    • Parking could be tricky in a busier time of year, but we had no problem at all finding a free space (both available, and without cost) very near to the hotel.

The kindness of the host, the breakfast amd the view from the room.

The room is not sound-proof enough.

Lovely friendly staff, amazing view from our room and the little balcony was a nice touch. No air-con but a ceiling fan so the heat was manageable.

The WiFi did not work and despite us asking, it did not work the entire time.

    Friendly staff. Decent property.

There’s two issues that made by stay very uncomfortable. First there’s no AC. This wouldn’t be a huge deal because at nights it gets quite cool and with windows open it’s a nice temperature to sleep (though forget a daytime nap - the room is an oven during the day). However my room opened to the piazza and there was a DJ right in front of my room playing until midnight (yes outside) and drunken revealers until 2ish. I realize the hotel can’t control this but the issue was that I couldn’t close the windows because then it was too hot. Next day the DJ was gone but the noise was only slightly less since the plaza was full. It’s unfortunate because my issues with the property can be solved by just adding AC. Then windows and doors can be closed and one could properly sleep. Without AC I wouldn’t go back. With AC then yes, I would consider going back. Staff is very friendly. Especially the lady with glasses at the reception. Always smiling.

Very friendly, good breakfast, amazing location right in the centre of town.

    Room was a little tired.

Suite bedroom for 4 (2 adults 2 kids), very clean, almost brand new, spacious. Great breakfast. Late check-in made possible with easy access (key locker). Beautiful setting in the heart of the village, pleasant square and terrace. Quality restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly.

The church nearby with a noisy ancient clock. Charming but not in the early morning...

Very friendly staff, really helped with my delayed arrival. Good breakfast, nice bathroom.

The design is a bit dated. Not a big problem though.

Lovely local hotel in a beautiful village. Good price - quality. Breakfast is good. The views from our balcony are out of this world.

It is quite noisy. But they offer earplugs!

    10JakubPosted on: 10-24-2023

Cosy rooms, nice breakfast - mostly italian style, but there was some eggs, hams nad cheese (those ones delicious).

    7ElenaPosted on: 10-16-2023

The Hotel is in the center, beautiful view, helpful and friendly staff. There are several good restaurants nearby.

It’s really noisy outside so it’s impossible to sleep with open window. Room cleaning isn’t good.

Fantastic location on main town square above busy café, walking distance to everywhere. Free public parking available 200m away. Spacious comfortable room. Pleasant breakfast. Manager sympathetic and available. Great value for money.

    9CamillaPosted on: 8-9-2023

Perfect location at the square and convenient free parking close by. Very friendly staff and clean and comfortably big rooms with very nice big shower. Perfect for exploring the region. We had a very big balcony with a lovely view towards the vineyards.

There is no airco and the fan above the bed makes noise so we did not have a good nights sleep.
