Hotel Villa Borghi

- the position near the lake.- the old palace, unfortunately you do not stay there but in a nearby structure.

- Very poor breakfast with no vegan options at all. The “cappuccino” was just the same Americano from the jugs on the counter, topped with some foam made by a cheap machine.- The furniture looks very cheap, almost “Ikea‑style”.- The bathroom had a broken shower tray and the drain did not work properly.- The showerhead sprayed water in every direction except where it was supposed to (plenty of limescale and mold).- The spa, which costs 25 euros per person for just the basic 2.5‑hour access, has a pool that is not warm at all.Definitely not a four‑star hotel.

It shows in the photos that it is on a lake but actually the lake is 5 km away.Also the sleep room is not in the old building shown in pics

I did not eat breakfast, we had to leave earlier. Location was great! 30 minutes from Malpensa Air Port.

It’s a lovely old mansion that needs some investment . Beds still ok and layout superb. Grounds lovely ..a lot of potential

It is a great place to stay after arriving in Malpensa airport, just a 20 minutes drive away. Good hotel, wonderful park, breakfast was OK (but you have to ask staff for the coffee - the stuff served at the buffet is undrinkable).

We had some insects/bugs in the room. The village next to the hotel is not exciting. After 22:00 no restaurant around open.

Main structure is an historical beautiful villa like a museum. Big nice gardens around.Breakfast very good, & good coffee.Comfortable nice roomParking.Location

When you look at the hotel's site pictures you believe that your room will be in the main historical structure .But after you receive your room you find out your room is in another building.This is very disappointing.No wi fi in the first night.Room wasn't arranged on our first day 'we have to ask the reception ,and they did it only in the evening.

Very bad attitude of the front desk guy , he was rude and not helpful at all, didn't gave us any information about the breakfast, dinner, pool and any other important information about our stay. There was a long ling to enter breakfast because they didn't have enough space for all the guests in case of rain. And the overall feeling is big disappointment because the potential of this place is amazing.

Driving up to the hotel makes you feel like royalty. The villa is absolutely stunning and the staff is very friendly.Though we didn't get around to using it, there is a pool next to the villa with a beautiful view down the hill to the lake.We stayed in a room in the modern building, which was clearly communicated beforehand. There was a free-to-use parking garage underneath this building, which kept the car cool and made it easy to take our luggage up to the room.The room and the attached bathroom were pretty large. The bed was huge and we found it very comfortable, though it might be too firm for some.

The breakfast buffet was decent, but not amazing quality.

The physical property is lovely. Always needs a little maintenance but a great staff and a very good value!!

Seemed like a little bit of updating needed to be done in the bathroom where there was a little bit of water damage.

The view from the rooms is stunning, overlooking all the surrounding greenery. The restaurant offers good food, parking is spacious, and the swimming pool area is truly exceptional. Staff on-site were helpful and welcoming. The hotel offers a peaceful and calming atmosphere with a charming castle-like feel.

Although the hotel was full, there weren’t enough staff to cover the entire property, which affected service at times. Room amenities were also quite limited—Boiler and coffee / tea are only provided upon request.

The property was not easily accessible if you are traveling without a car. The train station was a long walk with luggage. No taxis or uber service available. The listing states there is an airport shuttle which is incorrect. The hotel does not offer a shuttle. They give you a phone number to schedule your own ride to the airport—- starting at 60 euros.

The rooms are very clean, the breakfast had different varieties. The parking lot was big enough for everyone. Well decorated and very tasteful. Staff is very friendly and careful. I totally recommend this place.

This was our second stay at Hotel Villa Borghi in 3 months, and it seemed even better this time round. The main villa building is breathtaking and the whole property is stunning. It features secure parking and easy access to an elevator. Our room was very spacious and included a fridge, as well as a very comfortable and clean super-king-sized bed. The private ensuite was large and included the most amazing shower system. Our rooms also included some beautiful views of Lake Comabbio and some distant snowy alps. The receptionists and breakfast attendants were again very courteous and friendly. The buffet breakfast included everything you need plus more. The kind attendants also served freshly made coffees to order. We loved exploring the peaceful town of Varano Borghi and the lovely lake. My wife and I both loved our second stay at Villa Borghi and we would definitely stay here again.

No kettle in the room.

The main vila is amazing. Very nice and decorated. We stayed in the annex which is not so nice. The breakfast is ok and the spa is also beautiful and nice to enjoy a rainy day. I think in summer is really beautiful there.

We had a great room in the old building. Very charming and with an amazing view.
