Clean basic hotel. Room was nice. Breakfast was decent at Sunday morning.

Matrass missing top layer to soften and comfort top layer.Surprise not to have a breakfast at all at Monday.

We stayed in one of the boarding rooms, means we had a little kitchen, living space and bed room. Everything was very clean and nicely designed. The breakfast buffet was excellent with several choices of bread, cereals, oats, cheese, cold cuts, eggs and several coffee and tea options. Everyone was extremely friendly. The room did not come with an ironing board and iron but it was provided to us immediately when we asked for one. Plenty of free parking and only a short walk to old town Soest

The location was near the train station which made it a little noisy in the summer when the windows were open. But that was to be expected.

Room are great but to expensive for this location directly on the railway. Too much noise with open windows. The train is driving directly through your room.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, simple check in, near the station, large room with super windows, vending machines. All good.

Mattress a bit firm for me, and there was a hair on the pillow ..

All the staff were friendly and helpful.The breakfast was very good but flies were able to get on the meat/cheese products area, not good.

See through shower cubicle not appealing and it is not mentioned in booking info, staff very good to change room but that would depend on availability. This problem caused upset on our arrival.The pillows were really bad smelling but we used our own neck pillows so luckily didn’t use ones in the room.The air conditioning does nothing to cool the room even on full, it needs looking at or not mentioning in the description as it is very poor.No tea or coffee fascilities in room, should supply this, more people would book rooms with this in.We used our own kettle, tea and coffee etc.Very noisy if opened a window.

No aie conditioning so we had to open windows, trains every 15 minutes through the night..awful

Rooms were OK, but location poor

No tea or coffee facilities in the room, no aircon, only one small bottle of water provided for 2 people for 4 days. It therefore felt overpriced.

Room was big, new, clean with lovely bathroom and shower. Curtains and blinds kept light out.

Have to check in with a touchscreen outside, no staff around at evening check in. Just feels cheap and unfriendly. Room was too warm and although the thermostat said I could reduce the temp by -3°, it did not feel like it made any difference. Also trains woke me up at 6am on a Sunday although my windows were firmly closed. If trains sound their horns it’s even louder. Windows aren’t well soundproofed at all. There is only really peace between midnight and about 5-6am and even then there can be freight trains.

Very modern and clean. Very good breakfast. Parking on site.

Clean and spacious room. Receptionist were all friendly. Just few minutes walk away from the train station

New building and modern feel, very friendly staff, great breakfast, free parking and next to train station.

Liked everything and I wished to have mire time to explore the town

The reception lady gave us directions to local restaurants.Educated us on how to ask for our stake 'well done' in German.

Although it is near the train station, you can't hear the noise. The room is quiet and well-decorated. The staff are super nice and friendly. They offered a lot of help and convenience for me. I appreciate it.

A large room, nice people (someone was there at checkout). Arriving by train, take the north exit and walk through the parking lot for a short cut.

Not sure why this place has "design" in its name. Unless it's the linoleum with imprinted wood structure or getting creative cutting facilities like kleenex or a kettle, it must be the glass shower cubicle where you can watch people taking their showers from three sides.

everything was good. I have no objection.train station is just in front of the hotel.

there was no restaurant nearby. you have to go to city center.
