B&B HOTEL Magdeburg-City

Clean hotel with good air conditioning. It also had a great view of Magdeberg Cathedral.

Parking lot filled up in the evening.

I got reimbursed quickly.

The door room did not open, and I had to go somewhere else.

Nothing special

Very nice and polite staff, also very clean room. Close to the train station so easy to reach.

The location of the hotel is perfect! 5-7 mins of walk from the main train station and also about a 5-min walk to the domplatz, with nice cafes and restaurants. There is also the natural and historical museum right in front of the hotel. The staff is also friendly.

The Bathroom had a weird smell. We mentioned it to the reception and we were told that it will go away soon. The smell was not a big problem later on. The room was also okay. It could be a bit spacious. It was too cramped for three people.

Breakfast was a lot leaner than other hotels similar price. Rooms a bit stuffy

Nightmare using the check-in machines (we weren't the only ones)Had to pay for the rooms again to be able to access rooms and took a month or so to get the money back.We actually arrived in the advertised reception opening times but found it was closed.

Bad and no reception at night

I arrived at midnight, there where no reception so i was supposed to pay again at the door, even though i already booked the room one week before on booking… i said its okay ill talk tomorrow to the staff and proof i paid TWICE !!!, that was 2 months ago i still didn’t get my refund back while i reported this problem to B&B and booking!

Location was perfect, very friendly staff, value for money.

Ventilation in the bathroom was a big too loud.

Breakfast was pretty good with a lot of variety

I stayed in 2 different rooms and then in Berlin in the same hotel chain and all of them had this terrible smell in the bathroom. I thought it was just one room, but that same smell was in three different rooms. It smelled like sewage and it was pretty strong.

The hotel is conveniently located. The room was clean.

For such a price, I would expected more service. Actually, I think that a small refrigerator or boiler is no longer considered a luxury. But in this case, the equipment was, I would say, too minimalistic. Considering the rather high price, this is unsatisfactory.

Good location, very central. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We had to change to a new room, because the Bathroom smelled absolutely disgusting, like an old pond. Must have been stale water or something. Because of that, the ventilation in the tiny bathroom was running full power the whole time, so it was like trying to sleep next to an airplane. The mattress was fairly hard. There is hardly any parking nearby and there are only around 10 parking slots for guests, so prepare to pay for heavy additional parking fees. There is no free parking in the area.

Good location - hotel near Dom Magdeburg and kultural museum across the street. Free private parking. Room was small, but cozy. Buffet type breakfast - good and tasty.

The heating/cooling didn't work. Had to open windows and turn heat off. The staff didn't know how to adjust it either

Carpets should be hoovered with more attention , Very small choice at continental breakfast in my opinion should be in stay price as it’s very basic.

Location is close to motorway and close to coffee and restaurant and grocery store. Small carpark but well orientated.Clean place and staff speak well English. We will book again with B&B hotels.

In this loction we have experienced many people didn't speak English and we have some difficulty to be understand.
