Personeel at the restaurant was very helpful

Terrible pillows like flat tire couldn't sleep. Bed was also not very comfy.

The maintenance of the place and it has a nice personality from the past.

The parking that we paid for, was behind in the next block. It is not far but the road was pebbled and hard to roll luggage to the entrance to the hotel. At night it is also dark.There was some machine running sound at night that disturbed our sleep.

Honestly, I loved everything: the hotel room was clean, spacious and had everything I needed, including a small electric teapot.

The room and the staff are really nice

The hotel is nice, is not their fault, but next to the hotel there is a church, and on sunday morning the bells were ringing really loud for 5 mins nonstop at 9 am and again at 10.30 am. So if you need to sleep until late, I do not reccomend to stay here. I came to Magdeburg specifically with my friend for a party on saturday night, so we went to sleep at 4.30 am, and the plan was to sleep until as late as possible, but we paid 70 euros to sleep less than 5 hours....

My parents loved property. Had good rest. Loved breakfast

The room was cozy, spacious and very clean.

I know the hotel and stayed there several times before. close to the tram stop, where from you could easily get the railway station and city centre. Very nice and friendly people working there at the reception, in restaurant. I had to leave for one night and then came back, asked if I could leave my luggage there- it was OK. very nice and comfortable. A special comment and thank you goes to the restaurant cook who should be Italian and served a home-made jam, vegetables and even ice cream for the breakfast ! very nice and friendly!!

It’s not the first time that I stayed here, but first time I was asked for an extra-fee for the room same category with a view to the backyard although I’ve had exactly the same room as I had before (also acc. to the pictures that I saw in Booking). Important is that the hotel was not overcrowded with guests at all. For the last night I received the room that had to be renovated years ago: extremely old wallpapers with water signs, destroyed furniture (table, tea set) etc. that all looked for me as the hotel has financial problems and tries to solve them by cost of their guests. For a 4stars hotel, that level of price , location + for the guests who was visiting the hotel several times that’s unacceptable ! The hotel needs renovation in general, if you guys would like to keep the previous level

The hotel is basic, yet friendly, clean and fairly well positioned in town. Check in was very quick as was check out. The hotel has a garage in the basement floor which cost €10 although there was also free parking outside. The room is basic, but clean and pretty much complete in what you need for a good night’s sleep and a nice clean shower in the morning. I didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment. There are a couple of fairly good restaurants nearby, including El gaucho.

for a basic hotel, there was nothing wrong.

The staff is very friendly, the bathroom and the room was sparkling clean. Will definitely drop by next time I’m in Magdeburg :)

The beds are a bit hard :( The furnishing of the hotel is outdated but it does give it a nice vintage look :)
