A little bit old school but clean. Friendly and helpfully staff, great location, quiet comfortable room, close to restaurants, close to shopping center.

The bathroom is too old.

-Cold room temperature at arrival (without heating) in the evening, in middle of November.-Turned on the radiator, but still was cold in the morning. -Cost saving is important, but customer experience and comfort too from a 4 star hotel (heating).

Good location, good access to the city, close to the tourist office, close to restaurants, the pool and spa area was good, Access to the sauna for a small fee per day.

Probably due to my expectation level having read some review in advance but I thought the breakfast was somehow underwhelming. The shower in the room wasn't good. The temperature fluctuated wildly from boiling to cold

No information in the room about WiFi, breakfast, checkout, sauna use. Sauna didn’t open until 5pm. We weren’t told we needed an extra card to use it at an extra cost.

Spacious rooms, in house bar and restaurant, parking garage accessible from hotel, shopping close by, old town for sightseeing just 10-15 minutes walk

The decor is very 1960’s. A bit scruffy and down at heel. Very worn bed linen.

I liked the swimming pool and sauna. The location was very good also.

Check in time took a long time. On Monday 14/7/25 when i was checking in (20 mins...) i looked over to the left of the restaurant and it appears there were two waiters who were trying to fight each other (none of whom were German), with one trying to break it up. Later, my colleague and I were going for dinner in the hotel, as it had been a long day and we waited patiently to be seated. After a few minutes, I walked around the corner and one waiter gruffly came around and just pointed at all the tables as if to say we should have picked one ourselves and not be bothering him. He came back after a few minutes and asked what we would like to drink. When we asked for a menu we were told to "calm down"... We waited a few more minutes to get a menu and since there was none coming we decided to get up and dine elsewhere. I travel regularly to Magdeburg for work, i wont be staying in this hotel again if i can help it.. I do think the management should be aware that this occurred. I would want to know if it was my business. The front reception people were hard working and diligent, the restaurant team are sales prevention officers..

Its location, it was very handy for us cycling the Elbe , good bike storage. Good breakfast.

It was easy to find, well located for the town. The car park is part of the hotel, multistory so covered. It has a lockable cage for cycles, and small corners for motor bikes, which are charged €6 instead of the usual 12 for cars. The room was quite large and so was the bathroom.

Nearly everything. I put a neutral face for facilities because I didn't use them.

I had to fix the curtain, and the mattress was concave in the middle.

The position is good, 15 minutes walking from Main station, close to the tram stop.The room was quite big.There is a sauna (but we didn't have time to go).

The double bed was made of two beds with wheels, and they moved apart only by rolling on myself or while moving on it.On Sunday the hotel's bar and restaurant is closed (there is just a vending machine).

Right at the edge of the center with spacious rooms. Big parking garage behind the hotel.

The staff at check in was not super welcoming.
