Hotel City Inn

Neat clean hotel, very nice place to stay overnight during a trip from one side of Europe to another. The room itself has everything you need for a short stay. It has a bit of a prison charm, but it's even nice somehow. The parking is safe - I left my bike unchained at the bike hanger and it was back at it's place in the morning :) The hotel is easily accessible from the highway.

You can only pay with cash at the vending machine. If you want to eat something - bring your own snacks and drinks.

It's a quite area not far from freeway. There is also a shopping center not far.

The receptionist wanted me to write a positive review in exchange for a snack from snack automat. It insulted me.

Bed was very cozy, room was a bit chilly at first but the radiator warmed it up fast. Room and both in-room and communal bathrooms and toilets were very nice looking and clean. Had openable window, bathroom in the room with a sink, shower, toilet, fan, small tv, everything you need for a short stay. Staff was also very nice and helpful! Also had a vending machine downstairs.

Vending machine was cash only but in Germany that's understandable, also the bathroom in the room had no hairdryer, not much counter space, and no door.

The room was very small for two person two beds on top witj eachother and we are Partner.

Fun to just have a sink inside th and hotel. Good spot to spend the night in.

All safe.Though very soft beds.

Clean and quiet. I'm a light sleeper, but I slept pretty good.

Unfortunatelly the hotel is only good for one stay, because there is no cooking allowed and also not provided. There are some wending machines, but it's not enough.

The towel was not well cleaned. It has hair of previous user. Try cleaning properly. But the room was very nice and clean. Very comfortable

The location

They didn't answer on the telephone after 10 pm . They provide me false code number to open the door. They only care about taking money

Great for a stopover close to the highway. Very basic but super clean, also the shared toilets and showers. Seems to be recently renovated. Very quiet at night. There are some automats with snacks and drinks in the hallway, as well as cups and a kettle to boil water. Stayed there twice now and would come there again, the location is fortunate and the price as well.

The bunk beds are not very comfortable, just thin mattresses on a solid piece of furniture. But for a one night stopover and for this price, I didn't mind that much.

Location si perfect. Close to highway, but far enough to be quiet.

Lights are little bit too strong and if bathroom light is used instead, then fan is working so it is noisy. And bathroom without door is interesting solution. :-) But I was there before so I knew about it. It is ok if one person is in the room.

The room was clean and nice and the hotel was quite and closer to tram stop.

THE WORST EVER

It was awfull!! The room was gloomy, dirty , with spiderwebs and ratty towels. It was reaally hot in the room, so I opened the window - to a drunken party outside! The hotel staff didn't even try to silence them, although the noise was deafening....Reception staff didn't speak English (even though I specifically searched for an English friendly hotel! It is listed as one of the languages they do speak!) , and they don't even try - for example use google translator on your phone? But no, the old, grumpy lady didn't even pretend she was actually interested in helping ...

Double bed with bunk bed, enough floor walking space. VERY clean toilets and shower areas. Nice outside sitting area

No air con/fan in room, VERY warm being above other rooms in summer

it was relatively easy to arrive there, 20 min by tram from one of the train stations. It was also easy to find, name of the hotel with arrows was on the way after crossing the street on the way from tram stop. There was some possibility to buy cappucino and water or cola, however no card payments. You also need exact money otherwise you might not get your change. For one night for me it was ok. But I wouldn't recomend for family holiday, or people who like silence. People were not very loud of course, just normal talks and smoking, some music, but when I wanted to sleep it was disturbing. Maybe rooms from other side are more quiet. I was happy I booked room with bathroom so I didn't have to use the common areas. I had towels and shower gel in the room. there was a window between room and toilet, so toilet with a view:) pictures from booking.com are quite acurate for room with private bathroom.

noisy, smell of cigarets from the smoking area that was just in front of my window, toilet with no door, holes in bed sheet, I received email with asking for payment by sending my credit card number via email or by clicking on some paypal link they sent - i do not find it ok. If they want people to pay before check in, it should be stated in the room description and there should be a possibility to pay via booking.com
