Great location

It was very cold, the heating in the room worked only after short repair. No heating in the bathroom at all

We did not get breakfast at the hotel, but coffee machine was available for a fee in the lobby

Noise at night, from the trams (could not hear any trains although very close to train station)

Conveniently situated beside the HBF Secure parking for bicycles

Bedding felt squashed and lacking in lightness

Very convenient for railway station; local transport; city centre; early breakfast (06:00).

nothing!!angry nanny tried to charge me 3 times but ive been already charged before i even came to the hotel…its just not ok

everything looks outdated and a bit ugly,but i enjoyed that nonchalant vibes of Eastern Germany during Cold War..

Easy to register. Very convenient for the station. Helpful staff.

I will just list the problems. Where there was supposed to be a mini bar with a hole in the wall with a dangling cable. The sink was cracked around plug hole and dirty. Long black hair is not belonging to me was scattered everywhere in the bathroom. There was mould all up and down the shower. The bed was lumpy and the cover didn’t even fit the size of the bed. I fully used the reception coffee machine where one sip almost made me vomit with the sour taste. I opened the milk drawer to see what can only be described as yoghurt instead of milk. It was off and not off my days but by weeks. When I pointed this out to receptionist she simply told me there was an alternative machine I could use in the restaurant. No apology or explanation.. the steps in the restaurant are way too small and narrow and certainly not compliant with health and safety. I witnessed two ladies fall down with four plates of food these steps. No staff came to assist or apologise. Stay away from this place at all costs.

This hotel’s interior is a bit dated and thus a little grubby. Could be kept cleaner, but honestly, needs a renovation. The bed wasn’t hugely comfortable. It’s a bit odd to put a one person duvet on a double mattress. Also, no way to set the airconditioning lower than 21°C. Bonkers!

Only a minute's walk from the station. I knew there was no restaurant in the evening but there was an excellent one 2/3 minutes' walk away.

There was an UV lamp in the bathroom and the rotary switch to activate it just under the light switch. There was no label or warning and I have activated it by mistake thinking it was a ventilation or something. It was really unpleasant for my eyes even for a few seconds. Be cautious about it.

This is a good hotel. The price is great. The room is good. Clean facility. Hot water in the shower which seems like an issue with alot if hotels.One minutes walk from Magdeburg Hbf station which is the central station. If you want to travel around to other cities or the airport, this is the best hotel for you.

Rooms were clean and are same as shown in the images. Breakfast options are limited but good.

Great hotel. Clean and comfortable. The room is not big, but has everything you need. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. From the train station 100 meters. You can conveniently get to any city in Germany.

Everything okay

It was located close to the railway station and it looked like it was going to be a good stay. The first receptionist was very helpful.

I hadn’t realised that not all rooms have air conditioning, and it was a very hot day. The room was also right by the railway track, and in full sunlight so opening the window would have been a bad idea. The second receptionist offered to bring up a fan but the room was so stuffy it didn’t really help. Unfortunately there was no other room available so I decided to book into another hotel - what a difference! I will definitely be more careful reading the room description next time!
