    Pros +

    • Great location- Julie let us know about a disruption that may have affected our arrival and we had a warm welcome
    • Not what I expect from...
    • The breakfast buffet taste good with the nice view. Near to everything

    Cons -

    • This may sound very petty, but there was no hand and body lotion amongst the toiletries. Like I said, petty, but not much else to find fault with.
    • No parking service - yet carparking is around 100m down a steep hill from entrance. Very awkward to navigate with luggage, particularly in inclement weather. Was contacted by phone to organise for self-check in details to be emailed. They'd not arrived 24 hours later, so I had to request them again.Room is basic, walls marked with scratches, and extremely limited hospitality supplies provided. The courtyard is in need of weeding. The biggest issue is that, despite contacting the provider twice through the assigned booking.com tab -and also asking in person - for an invoice or receipt, I was told that they cannot be provided - this makes the accommodation entirely unsuitable for business use.
    • There was no light at the entrance to the hotel from the main road, so dark.

Stunning location, tucked away and hidden and close to many stunning walks and hikes and beaches.

The staff were very disappointing, I had issues with being harassed by an older person not once, but twice- and both were dismissed as my fault. (Sexual comment made whilst I was eating breakfast- shouldnt be sitting alone. Spat on from my Balcony from the function room- shouldnt be sitting on my balcony. The reception signing in and out need a lesson in positive customer service or just general friendliness. The included breakfast was not worth the $$. Minimal options and poorly cooked. the rooms were not sound proof, I could hear and smell everytime my neighbor went to the bathroom. The shower fluctuated temperature. For the price tag, I would've expected more. You literally just pay for the location. And unless youre at retirement age, its not worth the uncomfortableness of being looked down on.

    Breakfast was delicious.

I had to ask for coffee half way through breakfast. Nothing at all in the bar fridge

Great views! Balcony is great. Spacious showerPeace and quiet, being away from the city. Friendly staff at the bar

Hearing next door neighbours voices. TV needs be bigger & to be a smart TV. Fridge should have a freezer. Lifts should always be working.

    Very pleasant and highly recommend

Dinner goes off at 7 pm on a Saturday night....... they were very kind and accepted out order at 6.58pm

    7HaydnPosted on: 1-31-2026

View was nice free parking is handy

Need to clean under the shower drain plates. Shower was flooding. Scratching and dripping noises at night. And sound proofing didn’t seem great.

Great views over the golf course. Rooms are very nice.

Nice swimming pool no tennis courts like most of the golf courses that have these facilities specially tennis courts

The room was comfortable, clean with moder decor. I liked the availability of a microwave in the guest facility room

    8RiddhimaPosted on: 1-19-2026

Really good value for money, clean space and had the basic items youd need for a stay. Beautiful views.

Nothing major, but the toilet seat in my room was loose and could have done with a bottle of water.

    8ClarePosted on: 1-16-2026

We had a very good view from our room and from the dining room/ bar area. Breakfast was good - a hot buffet, some sliced melon and some small pastries. Dinner was very good and the wine selection excellent.

We had to check in by 17.30 - I’m glad I checked! We were lucky to be there on a night when they served dinner, but it’s not always available.

Boutique, location, room views, room facilities and restaurant.

Wish the restaurant stayed open a little later as we played an evening round of golf.

    10BerndPosted on: 1-11-2026

Friendly and helpful reception and bar staff.. Excellent meals in restaurant.

Instant coffee in room. Rooms need a small capsule coffee machine.

    Location

I was only told 24hrs before that all amenities would be closed so we're forced to leave the hotel for any amenities which then made it the most expensive ghost town hotel that essentially "shutdown". The notice period was not acceptable and too late to change our plans. No compensation offered at all and the lady who checked us in was very lovely but stumped on the one question we asked which was what local beach would be best for us to go to thst might be quieter. I was quite annoyed at the entire experience as it literally felt like "we're shutting down, fend for yourself". Way overpriced for 1 night in a lifeless hotel. Nothing like any other Mercure I had stayed at

    8LinleyPosted on: 12-29-2025

    Convenient, clean, friendly, helpful staff.

Breakfast was very limited. No continental breakfast rate, only one cereal option, no yogurt at all, only melon fruit options.
