The staff was so kind

Everything is just pretty outdated. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the rooms, just a body wash. There was also no soap in our bathroom dispenser to wash our hands. And it is super loud at night and early morning with bugs and roosters.

It was great all around.

The musty smell in our room.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Grounds were manicured and lots of beautiful birds I'm unfamiliar with. Breakfast was good. It's a short walk to the center and we felt safe at all times. The folks at reception were very welcoming.

There was nothing we didn't enjoy.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and the room was spotless. The shower had plenty of hot water and excellent pressure. Freddy was especially accommodating—he went out of his way to help us book a couple of tours and even prepared a boxed lunch for our departure. Breakfast was excellent, and the pancakes were absolutely amazing.

good location just outside of town, I was driving a rental car, so the location worked for me. Family friendly environment, good breakfast. nice large clean room with private bath and shower and the outside grounds are very nature oriented and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again

Housekeeping was excellent. They folded my clithes!!!! I also liked the location. Away f4om rge crowds but not too far.

Nature immersed, priceless waking up with the monkeys! Friendly personnel.

The rooms in the larger building have very tiny walls. But at the the end it doesn’t matter too much

Breakfast is good but can be better

The breakfast had lots of options, the rooms were clean and it was close to town but not in the hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly. No complaints super good value for the price!

Beautiful grounds including a pool and creek with monkeys in the trees. Birds and flowers everywhere! Breakfast was good too. It was right across the street from a restaurant, which was really helpful when I arrived exhausted and hungry. But the rest of town was a short drive away.

The white fluorescent lights in the room were really strong and there weren't any softer options. There were large tour groups staying here sometimes making noise leaving really early in the morning. These were very minor points to deal with though!

Laura, the property manager, was very nice and helpful. The recommendations she provided around town were great. The value for what we paid is definitely worth it. The location is also a plus with downtown being a less than 5 min drive and a nice bbq spot across the street.

The location and property was beautiful and the employees were excellent. We received a warm welcome and they accommodated our needs. The sounds of the river and the birds was also very relaxing.

Our room was clean and spacious however smelled very strongly of damp/mould. We couldn’t see any, so I think it had been painted over? Also there was a door with a mattress behind it separating us from another room which we found strange.

Breakfast was buffet style. It was delicious, in an open area with a great variety of birds feeding nearby and flowering plans.

Great location that’s a close drive to many different spots that you’d want to visit in La Fortuna. The included breakfast was good. Staff was helpful and nice. Can get laundry done.

Frank (concierge/manager) was the MVP of our stay here. Frank was a HUGE help getting us a reservation at a top local restaurant and also assisted us with a last minute reservation for a local whitewater rafting with a local guide. The hotel is in a great location, perfect view of Arenal Volcano, nice breakfast buffet. Thank you!
