    • Breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and kind. Lovely decor and comfort.
    • Breakfast was excellent. Our room was kind of small but comfy for two. No parking problem for us during our stay either on street next to hotel or a fairely size parking lot very close by.
    • Biked from Brandenburg an der Havel along rivers and lakes and multiple ferry boats!1. Breakfast included-best of our whole trip-expansive with a lot of variety.2. Room-we were in the modern addition, 2nd floor with balcony overlooking the garden. very modern room and bathroom facilities, excellent shower, a bit compact, but very comfortable. complementary water bottles. Beds very comfortable3. Covered, locked bike storage.4. Location-very close to major sites, cafes and bars in the Dutch section.recommend Zum Fliegenden Hollander for dinner-EXCELLENT staff, delicious, excellent cocktails. Hafthorn bar for drinks, food, football games.Next stop: Back to Berlin!

    Cons -

    • The room was very hot and windows opened. The bedding was way too heavy for summer. The single pillows were horrible. Need 2 pillows with support per person in bed.
    • couldn't think of some, Of course, room could be bigger and rate could be lower, but, it is quite nice for our need. The only inconvenience we had is not having USB plug.
    • No shades on windows and so light seeped in which woke us early. No aircon and it was very hot during our stay. No vegan (needed dairy & egg free due to allergies) options at breakfast and was told to go to the nearby supermarket to get my own vegan options.

The location is just perfect: Close to the central streets with all the cafés, but a little bit aside to be quiet. Additionally, the room faced the inner yard, which makes it even more cozy. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast. Really, nothing to complain.

    10AlexanderPosted on: 7-6-2024

Excellent, owner-managed hotel. All rooms in the inner courtyard, therefore very quiet. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. Restaurants and public transport only a few minutes away.

    10DavinePosted on: 7-5-2024

Exceptionally friendly, competent, helpful staff. Lovely bright, spacious room, modern well-lit, well-equipped bathroom, little veranda with seats facing leafy courtyard. Great breakfast choice, charming period front part of house, and fantastic location in charming Dutch Quarter.

Lovely small hotel. Breakfast provided in price. Bed comfortable. Nice room. Great location. Staff all very friendly and nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

It is a fantastic, intimate hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. The building is beautiful, situated in a picturesque and quiet Dutch quarter of Potsdam. It was beyond my imagination how nice, efficient, and courteous the staff was. I had a great room with a cozy living room and a balcony overlooking the neighborhood. In a nutshell: a pleasure. I will recommend it to all my friends and colleagues. It was an unforgettable experience.

I believe my room was upgraded; it was quite spacious and lovely, and I cherished the classic, traditional style of decor. Excellent coffee and an excellent breakfast are provided.

    9JosephPosted on: 11-28-2023

excellent location. extremely friendly and helpful staff. great WiFi

too few electrical outlets in the room, but it’s in a period building, so that is expected.

    9JanePosted on: 10-25-2023

Fabulous location in the old Dutch quarter of town - really convenient for shops, sites, trams etc. Lovely 'old fashioned' style hotel, really helpful, smiley staff & great breakfast buffet. Excellent view from my room (15) over the park. Perfect !!

Personal choice.... but my room had a bath rather than a shower.

    10KornelisPosted on: 7-20-2023

A stylish, large room with all facilities. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast (at modest extra cost). Hotel was in the historical centre of Potsdam. Parking house on 5 min walking.

    10PedroPosted on: 7-14-2023

Staff was awesome. Great accomodations. Really clean. The windows have nets.

The king sized bed is 2 single beds put together, making the middle uncomfortable.

Great location.Friendly staff.Clean and cosy room

    9TaylorpriestPosted on: 10-19-2022

The hotel was excellent value for money. The staff were lovely, the bedroom was clean, very comfortable and had everything you could need. The breakfast was delicious, a full continental buffet with some extras along with good quality coffee. Exceeded my expectations for the price. Would highly recommend.

    10BarbaraPosted on: 8-13-2022

From check in to check out I was very pleased. The staff are so gracious and friendly and the bed was super comfy as was the room (even had a motorised sun shade over small balcony with a table and 2 chairs to block out afternoon sun). The large bathroom with a separate water closet had a great tub and shower. The location in the "Dutch" part of the old Potsdam was near all sorts of shops and restaurants as well as transportation, buses etc for getting around. Very good value and I would certainly stay here again.

At this price point there is nothing not to like.

Spacious, clean room. Quiet street. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fine. I arrived far after the closing time of the reception (8pm), but was given a phone number to call at arrival so someone could let me in, which worked well.

There are no curtains, so keep that in mind if sunrise tends to wake you up.
