Proximity to airport

Maitenance staff should correct slow draining problem bathroom sink. Additional bath towels would be nice. No hair dryer in room.

Location is prime. Rooms are clean and arranged nicely.

Check in was poor. H- Member status was mis-represented, causing delay and duplicstion

Location is excellent for access to Potsdam, which is what we wanted. Berlin centre is about 30-40 mins away.Room clean, comfortable, well appointedBreakfast is really good. Great mix of fruits, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals, breads etc. Good coffee too. Wifi, TV, etc., all worked fineWe had a problem with our bill (we got charged twice for our stay). We had to leave at 2am to get a train to the airport, and we asked them to order a taxi the night before. This was not done. The night porter was v helpful & ordered a taxi on his personal uber, which we reimbursed him for.

Location close to Sanssouci is exceptional. Easy underground parking for extra fee (of course).

My brother's room had a terrible smell (sewage? dead mouse?). He decided not to change it even though I recommended that he should. My room was excellent in itself, but it was the only bum note on a 10-day trip across central Germany.

Location near a huge park, breakfast is gorgeous, staff.

The room was a bit old-fashioned.

It’s gone downhill a bit since we last stayed. Carpet a bit stained in our room.Rooms not cleaned for several days - so had to request cleaningBar rarely open, due to staff illness. Very few staff around especially in the evening - in fact just one young girl (who was very efficient and helpful) on duty one night.Breakfast staff always exemplary, extremely efficient and friendly and recognise us and make us feel so very welcome, but found reception staff a bit offhand and distant.

The breakfast was excellent with good number of options and high quality products, gluten free was promptly available upon my request. The service was top-notch

It is an old building, thus things do not shine the way as they do in some newer ones. Yet for me it was charming throughout, as in every place it seems that the customer has been thought of.

the room was clean and cozy and the breakfast was rich and of relatively good quality. Overall the stay in the hotel was more than satisfactory and the hotel is close to shopping areas.

The room was a lot smaller than the one that was offered in Booking. The bed was also hard, which is not good for people with back issues. For anyone else there should be no problem staying there,

The location is good, the tram and bus station was so near and also Schloss Sanssouci.

Would be good to have an option for early check in, we got there around half past 1 pm.

During my previous guided tour of Postdam I spotted the Maxx Hotel and loved both its location (just off Luizen Platz) and appearance. When I stayed, I enjoyed the friendly service and the moderate price.

Seemingly, the Maxx is a nice hotel. HOWEVER, it felt cheap...Might be the room floorplan, that reminded me fo a US 2* Motel, or - more likely the choice of materials: laminated parquet floor (i.e. plastics), formica finished furniture (again = plastics) and limited toiletries. Over all I got a cheap feeling, but it might just be me...

The hotel was located right in between the old city and the palace gardens, two of the places to visit in Potsdam, and it was walking distance to both of these attractions. The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional, the breakfast was rich, and the room was very clean. I definitely recommend it.

Staff were very helpful. We unexpectedly were able to check in early, having arrived that morning from Australia. Breakfast was very nice. Room great. Central location. Price much less expensive than Berlin and Pottsdam is a beautiful place to visit.

Room slightly noisy, due to outside activity - maintenance or rubbish truck operations etc, but with earplugs I didn't notice anything and the family weren't bothered by it. (I'm very noise sensitive)

Breakfast war great, including the best oat-milk cappuccino I ever had in a hotel.

The washing area had no door and the one to the toilet/shower wasn't sound proof, making it hard to do anything w/o waking your partner. Only one chair. Where's the other one supposed to sit? And the garage must have been designed by a Yugo driver.

Really nice place to stay at. The room vas tidy, comfortable and overall very pleasant. Very nice location, 2 min walk from the Potsdam Brandenburg gate and a bus stop. The bed had a nice elevation higher from the ground, thanks to a big mattress, which was very nice and will serve well to people who might have back problems. Everything necessary was provided within the hotel room with plenty of towels. The staff were also friendly and the breakfast was also good, with a large variety of desserts.

Comfortable room, good breakfast. I was at a conference there, and found the conference facilities very good. location is excellent - close to major attractions.

Wi Fi was working strangely - I had to login several times, sometimes two-three times per day.

Room Temperature was high and could not be controlled. Bed was not feeling comfortable due to plastic cover used to protect the mattress. Hotel parking was closed, we had to park in a public garage which is charging €18 per day ( not per 24 hours) so for an overnight parking of 12 hours you are charged €36

Perfect location! Easy to get to everything. And, the hotel provided vouchers for both of us through H-Rewards that allowed us to travel on U-Bahn, S-bahn and streetcars. A big help! Out of the side door was a trail to take you directly to the Sanssouci Palace! A/C in room, elevator and outside park like area for drinks and rest. We did not purchase breakfast but the buffet looked well stocked and had expected items. Would definitely recommend!

The room had a washing sink in the room not in the bathroom. Also the ventilation in bathroom was very dusty and there were smears on the walls. Room was a bit out of date, but decent.

Great variety of food for breakfast. Self check-in. Very nice room. Great location.
