    Pros +

    • Location-wise is perfect, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The access to the property and room via a code was also quite convenient.
    • Location is right in the middle of the touristy place, parking is at a church or park house near by and expensive, nice large room, steep stairs, very nice coffee machine and plenty of coffee
    • The apartment is very convenient to the historic Dutch quarter of Potsdam

    Cons -

    • The ceiling was high, yet it was a bit warm at night. No AC nor fan in the room, but otherwise fine outside hot summer days, I guess.
    • The rooms are actually over a restaurant with seemingly no affiliation. One of the restaurant staff stopped us, figured out who we were, and sent us to an office about 300m away from the site. The office was locked and empty with a sign on the door when we arrived. We found a phone number and called it, and the person who was supposed to be there said we should wait on the street and he'd be there in 5 or 10 minutes. He arrived at the 10 minute mark and gave us the keys. Also: be aware that parking in the neighborhood is very restricted and you will have to use a parking deck which is 300m away from the room in the other direction and costs 16euros for 24 hours.
    • A bit noisy early morning with cobbled streets outside. No curtains (no problem for privacy but early morning sun is bright)

Guy on reception stayed late to handover key to me - had significant flight and train delays getting to Potsdam

    The location is perfect

It could be more cleaner and more new - bathroom stuff and bedclothes

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The owner/host was incredibly welcoming and understanding, even though we arrived very late. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hospitality made our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommended

Good location and a good sized room where they have gone for a designer style. Bathroom was especially big.

Whilst the room was mostly clean if you looked closer like some shelves, corners in the room they don't seem to have been cleaned for a while. Also there was a kettle and cup but no spoon or actual tea/coffee supply. Also an iron but no ironing board. The headboard could do with changing sooner rather than later. These thing would make it more deluxe in my opinion (especially if you stayed any length of time.)rather than looks but overall it was a good stay

    The size was really good.

The experience was not so good. The windows does not have curtains (we stayed on the second floor), so at 5am we woke up with the sun.On Saturday was a hot day, so the room was super ultra hot, so not possible to not sleep without all windows opened (really opened), so very noisy.I was expecting (considering the price), at least curtains in the room.

It's a nice and beautiful apartment that had everything that we needed

The reception is in another place and understanding how to get to the apartment was a bit confusing. Also the receptionist wasn't the nicest, but he did explain everything thorough.

Nice and cosy room decor. Beautiful area.

Some defects like a ripped headboard of the bed for example but it's nothing special.

excellent location, close to everything with an excellent ramen restaurant below. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, room clean and the location for picking up the keys only a few minutes walk away

They didn’t have a plug for the bathtub (broken), had to make my own;)

    splendid location, beautiful surroundings.

as it is app, eating table, bigger refrigerator and some cutlery would be nice.

    9SulanderPosted on: 10-16-2022

Location right in the heart of the Dutch quarters which is super nice. The room was of good size and the bed was comfy to sleep in.

The shower was encircled quite narrowly with a shower curtain which didnt leave much room to move in the shower.

Good location. Close to attractions, many cafe, shops, restaurants nearby yet quiet. .the room is big, light, well designed and very clean. Dont think twice.

Great value for money, tasteful apartment, very clean, in a great, central location.

The staff is very confused and unprofessional. They gave me another guest's room as they didn't understand my surname and didn't check my passport, also the check-in sheet had some illegible, hand-scribbled name on it (that somewhat looked like mine) and no address, so I signed it. At 22:30h, the other guest all of a sudden stood in my room as somehow, he had acquired a 2nd key and had been able to open my door even though it was locked from within with my key in the lock. When I checked out, the invoice for my company wasn't ready even though I had given them the address through booking.com and had required a bill and when I got it later in the mail, it didn't have my company name on it and instead a 10-digit post code, which doesn't exist in Germany. So it would be helpful if the staff were less sloppy, better trained and had a basic command of German. Also: no breakfast, apartment lit by blue-ish LEDs like a turkish tea house, not very cosy.

We especially booked this facility because of the location as we wanted to be within walking distance to the Waschaus. The location exceeded our expectation: historical district, very lively, yet quiet at night, lost of cafés and restaurants to choose from, and even not too far from the Sans souci Schloss. The room was very nicely decorated, and the bathroom was modern and bright.

The heating system did not work. We sent messages about the heating but nobody came to help fixing the problem, probably because it was a sunday.

I spent one night in the apartment on the occasion of business trip and I am very satisfied with my stay. The communication with the owners/managers was very smooth and clear, I just picked up my key and easily found the apartment that was close by the reception, located in a most beautiful Dutch Quarter of Potsdam. The apartment was on the 1st floor of a historical building, above the little restaurant. It was comfortable, quiet and clean and had all I needed (incl. stable wi-fi and iron which is important when travelling on business). There were a lot of cosy little restaurants in the proximity as well as convenience store EDEKA nearby. Location-wise, it's just few tram stops away from Potsdam main station, where you can hop on a train to Berlin.

Perfect location, view from room and dogs friendly

    8TutuPosted on: 6-28-2022

    location, comfort, personal

Few things that could be avoided: the remote control had no battery and there were no curtains in the room I stayed. In winter is ok, but definitely not for summer. Next time I would ask for a different room.
