Mercure Hotel Potsdam City

There is no bathroom door. I was supposed to share a double and booked my own room. The room is also small

Everybody that we met from the desk to the restaurant staff was very polite. The hotel is very close to the train station, this is a great convenience.

Its a nice hotel, located conveniently near the Potsdam train station. It is not fancy but comforable and wad reasonably quiete and with pleadant vie. Some noise making luna park wa soutside the west part, umtil 10 PM, so I asked to switch and thete was no oroblem.

Wonderful location, very close to the main train station. There are many facilities and restaurants around. The staff were very nice, and the place was very quiet. Overall, a great stay.

Location - convenient to visit all palaces in Potsdam as well as take 30 min. train to Berlin.Hotel had wonderful terrace, it was so nice to relax outside after long day of site seeing.

I didn’t quite understand how to still charge my phone at night when I was sleeping, when I turned off the main light switch in the room it also shut off the power to the outlet by the bed

It was very nice, we had a beautiful view, we were with a kitten and everything went very well. It was close to the bus or tram and close to tourist spots. Breakfast varied for everyone and very delicious. I recommend this location.

The fact that the hotel parking is a bit expensive. But it can be found in the surroundings for 10 euros per day

The breakfast options are numerous and excellent. The food is delicious and fresh. The coffee is fantastic, and I loved the tea selection.The location is excellent: the train station is a five-minute walk from the hotel, there is a bus station for Sanssouci Park right next to the hotel, the Barnerini Museum is two minutes away, and the view of St. Nicholas from the hall is perfect!

Breakfast was expensive (24€ -April 2025)Rooms doesn’t have refrigerator (in case you have medication that should be kept in the fridge, you have to give it to staff)

the rooms were clean and spacious, the water pressure was great

I was in a hurry and there were no gluten free options at the breakfast buffet and no staff to be found to ask. there were eggs and beans and sausages that I ate, but I could not ask if it was safe and there was no bread or cereal

I arrived late at 3am and the gentleman at reception (don't know his name) was friendly and greated me warmly. He was very helpful and answered my questions about brekafast and if there was an Iron in my bedroom as requested in my booking. This was a great start to the stay. Breakfast was good with a good range of items. Location was good as could quickly walk into town and to the train station.

I have no complaints. Everything was excellent.

Awesome hotel, really good price and great location. As all Berlin hotels were fully booked we stayed at this hotel. By Uber/Taxi /Bus 30 mins away from the Messe in Berlin. Really excellent. Will definitely come back.Btw, Potsdam is also a beautiful town with lots of things to see. Good restaurants.

The hotel was perfect in all aspects. Pricing, location, etc. The only negative was a really rude woman at the reception desk. Never experienced this at any hotel before. We were baffled how rude she talked to us.Luckily the rest of the staff were really friendly. Especially at the buffet/restaurant.

Very nice and light rooms. Much space even in a standard double bed room.The breakfast was also good.

The restaurant is opening at 7pm and the prices are a little bit too high.The staff during the breakfast is too quick in clearing the crockery.

Car park was expensive at 20€ and at 24€ so was the breakfast

The location is excellent and the service staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample and good. The room was very tidy.

There was no electric kettle in the room for boiling water for tea and coffee. The breakfast was a bit on the expensive side.
