Holiday Inn Express And Suites Potsdam By IHG

Great value, nice staff even little early check in, nice and super clean room, good breakfast included. Great public transportation close by and city in walking distance. Will definitely stay again when back in the area!

The breakfast offered variety and that was great. It was always very clean when we went to the lobby to have breakfast. It was crowded in the early hours, but we managed to find a spot to eat. The area is easily accessible for the train/tram/bus.

It¿s not that I didn¿t like but this was an observation. The rooms are small. I paid for a room with a sofa sleeper and it looked spacious online. But it was small. Just know that.

Location

The hvac did not work

Everything was clean the staff was nice and the location right in the middle of Potsdam

Good offer early online and great location

Conjusted room for family stay and staff forgot to clean room once in 2 days as promised.

Clean fine

No WiFi. Asked for it to be fixed they said it’s working in foyer, I said yes but not on my floor. They said well it will be fixed in a few days. They said Can’t move room to an area of building that wifi can Reach as they are fully booked. But didn’t check computer once. Also one lift didn’t work the whole time so it took ages to get a lift.

The location of this hotel is especially for tourists with limited time a perfect decision because you can reach many well known attractions of Potsdam by walking. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good.

I don't like the huge flat screens in the breakfast room which are always shows so called TV news instead of showing nature pictures and/or attractions of the Potsdam area for spending a relaxed atmosphere! After asking the staff why this boring and destructive program runs all time they told me that's an instruction of the hotel management.

Impeccable hotel with spacious and super clean rooms.

Breakfast is average.

Great breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable rooms. Well connected to the city center even by foot. Staff were very friendly.

Not much. It was a short walk to townShort walk to work.

Renovated, all brand new, rooms clean, cosy, nice lighting solutions. Great location; 12 min to central station, lots of buses and tram just at the doorstep. Many great eating places around.

Queues, queues and queues. Everywhere: check-in took around an hour due to the queues and just one person at the front desk. Queues at the breakfast, no place to sit, lack of glasses, coffee machines started auto cleaning, water was running instead of juices, no cutlery at times etc., meanwhile very few personnel running around trying to fix it all...Besides, breakfast buffet really basic, poor variety of foods.

The location is very central, within walking distance of all touristic sights. The breakfast was delicious.

The check-in was very slow. There was not enough space for all guests during the breakfast: we were told by the staff to avoid the rush hour.

It was clean, had a great location and the staff was very friendly. All in all good value for money.

The breakfast was a total nightmare: the area is much too small for the hordes of guests. We had to wait in line to get a (very dirty) table and then get trampled by people trying to score a juice or a piece of bread.

everything was perfect for me really. The room seemed new and clean, a little desk and comfortable chair, very good shower and bathroom. As others have noted, there is crowd competition for breakfast, but other than that all good. Bar open 24 hours next to check-in desk.

Amazing stuff, great location and good bar! Breakfast included in booking, nice assortment and very very friendly engaging staff gave me advice on how to travel around and nice welcome!

Nothing wrong! Everything was amazing! Nothing to improve. Great new hotel and close to centre of Potsdam! Could book better than this one.

Nothing special. The receptionist was very friendly and professional. The check-in was successful.

The lobby cafe has a disgusting and rude barista. The room overlooks a very noisy part of the courtyard where there is a lot of noise in the morning and the smell of carbon monoxide from cars. When we checked into the room, there were dirty and broken coffee cups, we had to take them out and change them ourselves, but it immediately became unpleasant.

The staff was friendly, but I was disappointed with the service regarding my child's bed. When I arrived, the bed wasn't made, and I had to wait for an hour. In the end, they just brought me the sheets and I had to make the bed myself, which was quite surprising and not what I expected from a hotel stay. Also, the room was cold and not comfortable at all. I expected better.

The location is pretty easy access to old town and a 5 minute walk to the dutch quarter. The kids like the breakfast buffet.

It never ceases to frustrate me how tight the rooms are at Holiday Inn Express in Germany. Barely enough room to side step around the beds. It's like economy seating on airlines. Limited parking in their garage. Pay parking across the street.
