- Location is very nice to get out of the usual daily life or a weekend getaway. Very quiet and amidst forest.
- A nature escape, in the middle of the forest. The accommodation was clean, just like in the picture. Considering the size, it was well equipped and comfortable. It was quiet and safe for the kids. The check in and out procedures were smooth. The floor heating was nice, especially when all the clothes were wet from de rain. We rented bikes from them and explored Velp. The girls from reception were really helpful.
- The place is great! We did enjoy the value of being completely disconnected in the nature with our kids (6,10yrs). Our tent was at the other end of the location so we have to walk quite a bit to get around, but in the other way we were just at the exit to the Veluwe Forest! :)Also that they do advice no loud music or noise around, so we do enjoy the sound of nature!
Cons -
- I was charged 35 euros for just an hour of early checkin. When i asked for early checkin, they said it’s possible and never mentioned about money. It’s a trap. They have checkin at 3pm which is ofcourse way too late and when you ask for checkin they offer without mentioning about the extra pay and just to surprise you while checking out. Pathetic! And it’s not worth the price for the stay!Have been to multiple countries and stay but nobody charges for early checkin and that too 35 euros for an hour. Even if they do, they inform. This surprise isn’t ok at all.
- The thermostat from the floor heating was buzzing during the night and wake us. We turned the heating off the next night and it was ok.
- Charged with Kids and bags it was more complicated to go without a car, so we rented OV-fiets at Velp station and then needed to return one time to manage to have all at the camping. There is absolutely no supermarket around, they do sell products at the reception if needed but of course it will always be a bit more expensive than in an Albert Heijn ;)

Really high standard of furnishings and little touches to make it extra special like the play nook and 4 poster bed.
It was cold but we were warned about that. It is a tent.
The location is great - just next to the national park. The vibe was also nice and it's quite and private. The staffs are helpful:)
The facilities are bit old and the cost was a bit high considering the facility and room size
Wonderful house, clean, tidy and comfy beds. The area is green and very nice to walk around. Kids love this area! We also were able to do bbq.
I wish they didn't charge extra for bed linen. It's a bad surprise when you check out and learn that you need to pay extra for something that's normally included in any property/hotel. Besides, the stay was also a bit on expensive side.
It was a very well equipped, clean and cozy cabin. Parking lots available very close to the pod. Perfect for 2. Front porch is perfect for relaxing during the day and we could watch stars at night as well. It was a beautiful experience. I would come back again and recommend the stay.
We couldn't dine at the restaurant woodz as we didn't make a reservation. It would be nice if everyone staying at the property could have access to the restaurant by default.
Fantastic position in the woods, quiet site, great cafe on the site too and other campers were respectful and considerate. Great fun.
The bed was rather firm - but thats camping!
Pleasant location in the woods, a good alternative to staying in the city in Arnhem. The camping pods were very clean, comfortable and allowed us a peaceful night's sleep.
The bar and restaurant were only open until 8.00pm. We were arriving after a long day's cycling and a visit to the city of Arnheim, and we had to buy and bring food from the supermarket in Velp to eat that night. We were a group of nine cyclists staying for one night and had booked two four person pods and one two person pod. It was a great shame that the two person pod was over half a km away from the other two, in the furthest camping field on the site.
The location is in a calm environment and into the nature. There is a restaurant close by.
The lux pods have floor heating. thermostaat of our pod was making too much noise during the night, looked like a malfunction. We had to turn it off during the night so no heating in our pod during the night ( it was cold outside). We asked the staff and they were helpful to send instructions to reset the thermostaat but it didn't help in the end, we didn't stay in the pod for the last night we left earlier. The size of the 2person bed was also a problem for us. It was too small for us.
We liked the location a lot. The breakfast was good, but a little pricey for what we got I think. Also, the employers are very friendly!
The fact that we had to bring the dishes of the breakfast back and take off all the sheets from the bedding.
Everything and it reminded us of back home in South Africa
The place is stunning, close to town for shops, loved the forests and got to really relax.
It was simple and in the forest. You can walk out, directly into nature.
There was only an electrical wok and a microwave oven to kook with. So it was a bit of improvising. I couldn't use my self brought coffee percolator.
It was an absolutely peaceful place outside the city yet so close to town that if you needed anything you were close enough! The cabins were lovely, cosy & relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for!
Beautiful location, great jump-off point to the woods! Small but cosy.
Best plqce i ever been if u want rest or a good hike its awrsome, nice food nice employies
- small but comfortable- really in the nature- short distance to national park and forest- very good heating in the rool- facilities are new in the pod- dog friendly- you can cook your own food (not very complex ones, more basic ones)- you can find almost everything you need in the room even though it is small area- great wifi in the pod
- you need to clean up the room yourself before check out and there is no information in english about it. I learned it from comments on booking.com, otherwise i’d had to pay fee for this. If there is such a rule, you need to inform everyone in detail about this. Information was very hidden in a brochure and only in dutch, people might not read this brochure and/or not speak the language. This information should be more visible for everyone- no hair dryer in the room- no slippers given, inside gets so dirty quickly because you have to walk in the nature. Slippers would be a good solution to avoid this- after reservation you learn you need to pay extras such as towel fee etc. they should include it to booking price or put clear information so that everyone is aware before booking- we stayed 2 nights as a couple, but only had 2 coffee capsules and 2 tea bags- which is absolutely not enough for 2 people who stay there two nights- you should consider how long people stay and supply them such things accordingly- no breakfast included in the price also breakfast is not possible in the resturant
Small and very cozy. Wonderfully situated in the National park Veluwezoom. Each pod (House) had a complimentry box with dishsoap, coffe-/teabags ect. A little but nice and usefull Thing :)We rented bikes and had a lovely ride through the park.
The menus in the restaurant were only in dutch :(
I liked the cabins. It was cozy.
No soap, one layer toilet paper, we had to throw away our own garbage bag in the morning, we had to clean our own dishes, we had to pay extra for sheets and we needed to put our sheets in the washing bin. All of this is fine of course but it’s a lot when you think about the 150 euro’s we had to pay for one night.
The location was really nice and with a restaurant onsite.
The price is very expensive for the size of the pod. The floor was freezing and the shower is extremely tiny. Check out is 10:30 which is way too early considering check-in is from 3 pm.
