In the woods, lot if green
Container Bungalow, cold (heater automatically turns off at night), mass tourism feeling (small village of container bungalows)
Cozy furniture and calm environment.
Havig to rent the towels!
The central location to explore the Nederland was superb. There were a few initial teething troubles with the accommodation. Which was sorted very professionally. Thanks to staff especially Jadzia. Utercht and Amedtam well worth a visit. Train links from Ede great.Great local town of Lunteren only 3 miles flat walk.
One room could have been cleaner. Kitchen facilities were small for 8 people. Oven was very small.
Easy to access and cozy place
It was little bit dirty and cold. You can adjust the temperature of room but you have to check it every 2 hours. If you don’t check it, you can feel cold soon.
The food at the restaurant was excellent. The location was very good it was central to the places we wanted to visit and shops were within reach. The layout of the bungalow we stayed in was great and the place had everything we needed. The nice park for the children and the swimming pool was a hit. The neat gardens and beautiful ponds and fountains made the place even more idyllic.
The carpet in the lounge was not clean and had sand on it. We had to move the one bed and there were spider webs and dust under the bed.
Quite modern "houses" very nicely integrated into beautiful nature. House itself fulfilled all expectations. Very clean.
My car got damaged! My parking spot was under a high oak tree. The falling oaks made couple of dents into roof and hood and damaged a breaking light. Strong wind threw a whole brunch on the car.I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO HAND OUT / BRING YOUR OWN CAR COVER IN CASE OF PARKING UNDER A TREE
Excellent location, very quiet with great staff
No grocery shop
Superb location 60 km from Amsterdam, located in a rural and leafy area. There is a nearby pretty town, Lunteren, which u can visit hiring a bike at the Camping site.Weird dutch meal hours make restauranrs open from 4 to 8.Magnificent warm pool at the camping sitePerfectly clean and quiet
Beautifully maintained resort, which is great for families.Villa was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a good-sized secure storage for bikes. The villas are well spaced out and are positioned for privacy.A great location for cycling.
The beds were quite narrow.
Just two steps and you're in the woods (great for our dog). It's quiet and the house is clean.
We had a mosquito in the room once or twice, but there weren't many, thankfully.
Some of the staff is friendly.
Property charged an extra 150€ cause since we had no space in the luggages we left some staff at the property. When speaking to one of the employees on phone, they told me that they overchaged me and re giving me back a part of it. After 2 weeks, haven't received a cent and im not begging for my money! Not recommended and Never again.
Small but very nice cabin. It had everything you need, including dishwasher and vacuum cleaner. The welcome kit was very useful (included the essentials like toilet paper, matches, some dishwasher tablets etc). There's a vending machine where you can buy lots of useful stuff (not just drinks and snacks)The restaurant is quite good and not very expensive (by dutch standards).
No hairdrier, but we got one at the reception. We booked a non-refundable stay, that was fine. Sheets and towels are provided at extra cost (this is fine, we were made aware about this during the booking). But in my oppinion, this should be changed on arrival, not in advance. I understand there is no refund for the booking if you cancel, but unused towels and bed linen are not included in the cost of the reservation and should not be charged before arrival. You also need to vacuum clean the house and take out the sheets and towels before check-out or you will pay extra for this service - we foud this out from the note received at check-in.
Just a beautiful place in the forest. The chalet clean, neat and tidy
Nothing comes to mind
We rented a large home, which fully answered our expectations. Good size rooms, with enough storage space for suitcases, good park facilities and in the green heart of The Netherlands.
House is getting a bit old, with some minor maintenance/repair flaws.
We approached Topparken Landgoed de Scheleberg with high hopes, but it was even better than we had dared to dream. The location is exceptionally good, starting with a sense of theatre as you drive up the main tree-lined driveway to the central building to check in. Everywhere around the park the trees are tall and the greenery, shrubs, plants and hedges give the illusion of wildness and privacy despite the large number of buildings dotted throughout. I don't remember seeing a single piece of litter anywhere around the park, and the whole environment within the park is clean, green and very calming. The play areas are tremendous and well-maintained, and the go-kart rental (other vehicles are available) good value and great fun. The swimming pool is a good size and just the right temperature. But perhaps our favourite thing was how easy it was to access footpaths and cycle paths all around the park. The network is astoundingly good, and exploring the paths and venturing out is wonderful fun. We easily made it to two charming local towns -- Lunterun and Ede -- by bicycle, and other trips, to the Middle Point of the Netherlands, and to Ginkel Heath, renowned as a landing site for the famous Operation Market Garden assault on Arnhem in WW2, and have never had so much fun cycling anywhere. And I haven't even yet mentioned the quality of our accommodation: our chalet was wonderful. I don't belive it was one of the top-of-the-range ones, but in itself it was perfect. Clean and comfortable, with excellent decor and a homely touch. All the facilities and equipment we needed. Easy car parking right outside the chalet, and secure parking for our bicycles there too. And our own sauna cabin too! We were super-comfortable and felt very snug and happy with our accommodation.
The only slight gripe is that changing facilities near the pool would make shoulder-season swims more pleasant, but come July and August, the chilly stroll in a damp costume back to your chalet will not be a problem.
bród syf I grzyb omijać z daleka
It was not a good stay as I was ignored about the black mould on the walls in the room I wanted to sleep in. First time I said it to receptionist I was told someone will come and clean it. Someone came and did nothing the walls were still BLACK.!! Second time I was ignored. And I couldn't sleep in the main room because the walls were black you could even smell the mildew in the room I had to sleep on the sofa for two weeks which was not nice.
The park was large and staff were very helpful
There was a power outage on Christmas morning, but it was fixed by noon. The facility told us cats aren't allowed meanwhile dogs even large ones were everywhere.
We stayed in a modern house close to the main building. Kitchen was fantastic, beautiful and well equipped. The park is next to a beatiful forest. The pool area is nice, with well fenced baby splashing pool, hammocks, next to a large playground for kids.
The entrance to the house is from the opposite side from the main area, so you either have to take a long walk around other properties (+300m easily), or squize through the hedge - this is what we did, and, most likely, everyone before us as there was a gap clearly just for that, but you can't take a shortcut with a pram or on wheelchair.
