great breakfast, very friendly staff, excellent value for the money, really clean and good location. Loved our stay and would definitely come back.
There was nothing that we didn't like. We had an exceptional stay.
Spacious and clean
Needs some maintenance, e.g. WiFi not existent and lights kept flickering to the point that I had to use only bed side lamps
Very clean and spacious room....Good value.
Our meal was not very good and it took a long time. Others who came after us were served before us.
The food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The lights on the stairs.
Friendly stuff. Easy to find. Clean basic rooms.
Room was clean and spacious, staff were very friendly. Everything was tidy.
There was a constant smell of cannabis, yes I know its legal in Germany now but my wife is not a fan of the smell
Bed was firm, but comfortable. Located within walking distance of old city, but complicated to drive to hotel. Had asked for blankets and they were provided.
No one from the hotel to talk to, only restaurant staff who didn't speak English. Pillows were hard. No lift - had to haul suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.
The room and facilities were excellent and very clean . The restaurant/ Bar was well decorated and breakfast was ample choice - the meals we had at night were both lovely - served by polite staff - one waitress named Adalina was lovely and went out of her way to talk english to us . Both managers and staff were very polite and helpfull throughout our stay . I liked the nod to the past in the bar as it was once called georges bar and frequented by UK army personnel and still has two regimental flags on one of its shelves .
Although it isnt advertised as having a kettle in the room would have liked to see a kettle and cups available for use in the room especially for us Tea loving brits but to be fair its not advertised as having this luxury - altough there was a fridge in the room it wasnt on and couldnt see how to plug it in or turn it on as it was in a cupboard and secured .
We rented the 3 room appartment for 1 night for our family of 5. This was very spacious with good mattresses, more than enough towels, 2 TV,'s And even a baby cot. Bathroom could use a little face-lift. Though it is functional it is a little worn down and iin contrast with the beautiful design of the restaurant and toilets down below in the hotel. All accounted, good value for money.
Basically we had chosen this place because of the restaurant facility in-house. Ideal bc our children are very young. We arrived, as pre-informed, at 18h15 (not such a crazy dinner time i would think) and had to checkin through the restaurant where we only saw 2 staff members completely overwhelmed and it took a while before we were asked to come to the bar for our purpose. We informed them we would like to dine in the restaurant and were asked to return in 30 min, although at least 3 tables were not occupied and no reservation tags were on. We did so, only to hear that we could have a seat but it would take another hour before we would get food. Generally we were disappointed about this miscommunication at the expense of 3 hungry children, they really didn't care. Would have preferred that guests are advised to make a dinner reservation if they want to eat in, when booking a room or at least asking or proposing it as a courtesy towards your hotel guests. We would have done so. So unfortunately we ate out and could have stayed anywhere else in town.
Excellent breakfast and great restaurant for dinner. Staff very friendly. Large 3 bedroom apartment.
Very nice breakfastStaff is very nice and helpfulThe room was clean
The mattress is too hard for me, but it's individual.
It is close to town and shops all in walking distance. Bus stop right opposite. Loved the balcony in the room . Breakfast was fabulous and dinner was good as always
No carpet in room but that’s just me
The staff is extremelly kind and helpfull they made the experience oustanding with their service. The hotel rooms and restaurante are very cute i would just suggest a renovation on the corridor with stairs to the rooms, but is a minor detail. The food in the restaurant is seriously good and the breakfast excelent! All fresh and real scrambled eggs. The location is great, walking distance to town and the area is lovely
Short walk into town and a supermarket on the way there and back. Bar was still open when we got back and managed to have a late drink.
The resutrant and the breakfast was great. The staff was was very friendly and nice. The location was also nice, 10 minutes from the Old City.
The entarance to the hotel is very starange. Normally you enter through the back and meet a set of very narrow stairs. No Lift. You dont see the reception until you pass through two more doors and a narrow passage infront of the kitchen. No place to store your Baby Stroller. Our room was on the 3rd floor and had to drag it up and down the stairs everytime. Not very plesant. The other entrance to the hotel is through the resturant, there is also a narrow passage to get to the stairs to your room.
Continental breakfast was fantastic, the hotel staff were amazing and the hotel itself we both love, as we used to live in Hameln when I served as a British Soldier until 2004. It was sad to see the old Linsingen Kaserne knocked down though.
There is nothing we disliked at all.
Comfortable, clean and very welcoming. lovely location - a short walk into town centre
