    Pros +

    • Beautiful views, comfortable space, welcoming staff.
    • This is really a hotel attached to a glorious restaurant, once you realize that it all makes sense. The hotel is in the midst of the woods. It is really quiet, beautiful and atmospheric. Many walkers pop in for cakes or lunch (often with dogs). The food is fantastic, we ate breakfast which is a really well stocked buffet and dinner from the special and usual menus. We had a mix of meat eaters and vegetarians and everyone was happy. The alcoholic drinks were great with a fun cocktail menu. The rooms are utterly lovely. Spacious and neat with a TV, free mini-bar, hairdryer, kettle, coffee machine and extra pillow. The bathroom is sleek, open plan with a large bath and a waterfall shower. Plenty of towels. The view from the hill over Hameln is pretty in the day and cozy at night with the lights sparkling. Some rooms have a terrace which I think would be lovely in summer. There is a lift to the higher floors if that is needed for accessibility. It is a romantic place if you are travelling with a partner (or more than one partner if that is your set up).The staff were lovely, the Executive Chef was particularly good to us when we had a problem. Really responsive and generous. My younger family members particularly liked David who made them really comfy and chatted with them like an old friend. The restaurant staff can help with most queries about the room and check in if needed. They were really nice.If you don't have a car you are going to need to hire taxis to get you into town (about 15 euro). The reception staff will help with that. In summer you may feel more like walking. It was too rainy for us.Hameln is a picturesque old town. We visited for the Christmas market, which was everything we could wish for. We now feel set up for the festive period. Might be all the glühwein!
    • Nice location with a great review and own sauna in the night. Free room bar and all room full of Bose speakers

    Cons -

    • It was all good,
    • The only downside was that the restaurant was closed the night I stayed-
    • Restaurant not open on day we arrived. Only 3 coat hangers and no trouser bars.

Very helpful staff. Beautiful location and lovely, high spec rooms.

    Nothing. It was all great.

The property is in the most spectacular location I have ever stayed in, it was amongst the forest with the views of the Klütturm tower. The room was fantastic with an amazing bathroom with high quality finishes. The bed was very comfortable. The room had its own private garden with patio furniture. The gardens of the property were stunning. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town of Hameln was everything you could wish for and made perfect with the first class service and the sun shining. I could have stayed there happily for two weeks.

    4ErikPosted on: 7-14-2024

    The view was nice.

Lack of structure, we booked a family room with king size bed and a bed sofa. The bed sofa lacked the bed linen so we had to ask for to get it useable. The breakfast food was ok but felt a bit scattered and serving apperance could be enhanced. Cleaning was not nice, strange smells in the corridors and rooms were not fresh. No hand soap on one of the bathrooms.

Everything! Quiet beautiful location, very dog friendly - allowed in the restaurant, but they also do room service which is lovely. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Staff is lovely, very caring and we can’t wait to visit in the future.

Nothing! Though have to warn the road is narrow and up a mountain, so be careful. Some reviews said loads of potholes, but it’s more the road is uneven rather than big potholes. None of it was an issue when driving slowly and all worth for the location.

    Quality location and facilities

Restaurant Closed but that was advertised in advance - just shame our timings didn’t work for it

Where it was, the views the staff, the food. Can't really fault anything

Slightly limited breakfast but still very nice.

    10PaulPosted on: 1-25-2024

Great location with fantastic views over Hameln. Great decor and comfortable hotel. Room fantastic with a added bonus of high fidelity sound with Bose speakers throughout the main living space. Superb.

    9KarenPosted on: 9-25-2023

The rooms are superb! just like in the pictures, very clean, cozy, spacious and luxurious. We had bad luck, since there was an event at the restaurant and we could not eat there, the hotel is in the middle of nowwhere, so if you get there, you must know, there is only a restaurant 800 mts away and does not have variety. The Staff was ok but not extraordinary helpful, it looks like there are many events at this hotel and eventhough it is very loud in the lobby, the rooms are very good soundproof. The view from the hotel is amazing and the breakfast buffet excellent

the staff was rather just there, could be more helpful, the event that took place at the restaurant and we could not get even a glass of wine, we had to get some dinner downtown

The hotel is beautifully located in a forest on top of a hill. Excellent view, very quiet. The room was clean with a modern bathroom and had its own terrace with a view. Petfriendly. Elevator. Free drinks

Disappointing that there was No access to the restaurant which is much acclaimed on the website, because it has been booked out. That is uncomfortable because it is very far from town and the road is very bad. No access to WiFi though it was stated on booking.com. Not acceptable for that price.

The room was beautiful, as was the hotel. The view was magnificent and we had breakfast on a balcony looking over the city.

The bath couldn't be used because it was broken

The beds were comfortable. The room has a patio area and is very quiet.

The bathroom is open to the room. No privacy at all. Breakfast was poor. No selection.

Amazing hotel. Very value for money. The view overlooking Hameln is outstanding. The weekend breakfast buffet is very good. Will definitely be back.
