It was 11 miles from Amsterdam

We arrived at 9:30 to find absolutely no staff at the front desk. I was accosted by another guest and when I told the staff, they did nothing. Bland decor. Needs updating. The parking garage did not feel safe.

I was woke up by workers changing the carpet in the corridor in front of my room. One evening there was no carpet in the corridor, just the raw concrete floor with glue residues

The location of the hotel is good, beautiful nature all around.

The room require an upgrade considering the price of the room per night.

Large and comfortable room, with plenty of desk space. Great shower. Free parking in safe location below hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.

Connecting door next to one bed meant there was no bedsite table there. Had I been there for work a desk chair would have been good, seeing there was so much desk space.

The hotel is easy to reach by road and there is generous free parking. The common areas are decorated to a high standard. The room was a good size with a decent view and beautiful bathroom (bath and shower). The bed was comfortable and there is a good sized TV with a large variety of stations in various languages. The restaurant was excellent; a bit expensive, but not unreasonably so. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and pleasant and there is a good little bar.

Both the air con and radiators seemed to have been shut off as an economy measure (in mid-April the day was warm but the evening got quite cool). We had to ask a couple of times & in the end were given a fan heater, which did warm the room, but not really what you expect given the price point of the hotel. The radiator did come on for about an hour in the morning so evidently there was nothing wrong with it. The fridge in the room didn't work, which was a pity.As stated in the description, the hotel is not within easy walking distance of the town centre, nor is there much by way of bars or cafes in the surrounding area, although there is a bus stop nearby.

Great hotel close to Amsterdam. Nice facilities, recommended breakfast. Comfortable indoor parking.

Great space, especially the lobby, and the rooms were comfortable and a good size. The handwritten welcome note with a couple of chocolates were a really nice touch!Warm welcome from the staff at reception and the early check-in was very much appreciated.

Breakfast was great, staff very professional. Stayed at this (institution) place many times as it fits well the business needs.

Room would ideally need soon some refurbishing and re-modeling to be contemporary with what is available in the neighborhood.

Primarily the room. It was minimally furnished, mattresses too hard and towels were thin (no washcloths).

Liked the lobby to hang out, have coffee, wait for and talk with friends. Nice seating arrangements and comfortable space. The staff was very accommodating and attentive.

Adequate stay for one night.

Room wasn’t ready until 16:00 and even then it wasn’t deep cleaned. Dusty surfaces and stained towels.

Uncluttered, clean and spacious rooms, easy access to good hotel restaurant and bar, friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast is reasonable if you come early Lunch was good

We booked superior rooms but they gave us standard No hot shower for 2 mornings Bathrooms are 1980Old uncomfortable beds

It was quiet, the bed was comfortable.

They couldn't find our reservation, and it took a long time to finally get a room. Even suggesting to book another room?!?The bathtub and sink were chipped and in need of replacement

The price was reasonable, and we were upgraded to a larger room which was very kind. Aircon was great, parking was great, very clean and quiet. Close to the highway - but for sure you need a car to stay at this hotel. Good location to visit some sites in the area if you have a car, including Amsterdam (as you can drive to the station and park there, or possibly take a bus). We visited Muiderslot amongst other things in the area.

However- we were a family of four (two young children) which is not the main clientelle. For example, no kid's menu (only fancy food at the restaurant). The bathroom sink faucet was unreachable for small kids, and the soap was locked into place high up on the wall - it couldnt be accessed by the kids at all without being lifted up onto the counter.
