- The hotel is new and clean at a good price
- The staff were very helpful and accommodating. When we did show video of the cockroach walking in the shower wall and photo of the dead one, we were quickly moved to another room.The breakfast ladies were very nice and the scrambled eggs were delicious.I appreciate that the front desk crew printed out our bus tickets when we left for Cartegena.Our upgraded room had a balcony which was nice. The room had 2 beds which were comfortable.Although the area is run down, it is safe.

- Our first room had a large live cockroach in the bathroom. There was a dead one on the floor and my son found another live one in the drawer. There was litter on the floor in the main area when we arrived. Our upgraded room faced the street. It was extremely noisy. The area was loud, with blasting music which lasted past 2 am.This is walkup only- no elevator. We were on the 4th floor, which made carrying luggage up the stairs a real joy. Ac was not on in the main area ( walking up stairs) which added to the discomfort.The shower had low pressure. It did not have temperature control.Overall, the hotel and area had a vibe of neglect. Litter, loud honking, lack of care were prevalent.
