I didn't like the location because it was too quiet. Not much to do but rest. I didn't like the breakfast. My room was cold because of the high elevation. The hotel is located high up in the mountains. No heat in my room.

More things to do for the location, a better breakfast, and available heater for my room.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful lodge with clean and comfortable beds.

I could not get hot water to work which was difficult in such a cold climate

Poor logistics and a lack of responsibility.

The hotel canceled the reservation at the last minute because they resold the room; we were on our way there when they sent me the message. I had to return to Medellín and find another place at the last minute.

The place and the building it-selff

The staff stayed at the hotel and watched ridiculous series very loudly during the evening! Noisy dogs.

The look of the hotel. The staff were very welcoming

The room was very cold. Although they tell you this and to bring your own blanket(s) they only supply one thin blanket. The ensuite bathroom was very rustic and the wash basin had no plug to hold a drop of water.

The location.

They close the gate early and you had to call repeatedly to get back inside even after telling them that we would be out late.

The staff is welcoming and accommodating.

Our friend got bit by the dog, it was freezing with no option to turn up the heat in the room, roosters woke us up at 5:30AM, there was no top sheet on one of the beds, the coffee at the front desk in the morning was cold, my friend told them she was allergic to nuts and ended up throwing up all night because there were nuts in a sauce.

A Chalet is what I rented. Well. Poor construction lets the cold wind from a storm get into the room making it extremely cold. Freezing cold.

There’re gaps within the doos panels and window corners. Wind, insects get into the room. The bathroom was dirty, there were spider webs w I sets in them everywhere! The place was dirty

Locations apparently good

I couldn’t stay because disruption of potable water supply with no solution from the hotel.

Stay away!

One of the worst experiences during our stay in Colombia. After reading all the positive reviews and the 4 star rating, I booked a deluxe room for about 430.000 COP a night. Given the cost, I expected a certain level of quality and service. I was wrong. The room was dirty and in desperate need of renovation. Almost everything was broken (shower door wouldn’t close, sink sprayed water everywhere, jacuzzi never got hot, floorboards uneven). The staff seemed upset about having to clean our room, and proceeded to do the minimum possible. Highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Location is decent a, 15min walk to the center and the price is right!

The showers do not have shower heads so it is not a pleasant experience . Staff, though friendly, were hard to locate and did not provide us with much information (I am fluent in Spanish so that was not the problem) and breakfast left much to be desired. Thin walls, can hear the neighbors being intimate :I

Breakfast was good and served at the room

I would have been able to use the Jacuzzi at a good price

The location of this hotel is one of it's best selling points. It is within easy walking distance of local restaurants. The breakfast served was good. My room had a jacuzzi and a small fireplace in an attached alcove. I paid for one of the upgraded rooms which featured these 2 extras. The hotel sends a man to light the fire in the evening. He leaves a few extra sticks. The fireplace burns for about an hour. It was nice to sit in front of the fire for that hour. We did not use the jacuzzi. The property had a small area for games and a grass space to walk barefoot as well as some trails.

The bed sloped towards the middle and therefore sleeping was not easy. In general the bed was not the most comfortable. It was not terrible, it just didn't work for me.

The room was big and in nature. The hotel was close to restaurants etc, staff is friendly

YOU HEAR EVERYRHING.Don't stay in the room that I stayed in, next to the woman with her 4 dogs. They bark and play at night, and turn the volume on their TV up as if it was a cinema

It had character

- there isn’t an option for me to state that the owner was absent and left the running of hotel to staff (who were lovely) and refused to refund me my money when I pointed out I had been charged over 50% for the room I booked, which was basic. Booking.com were also unhelpful and said it’s up to owner to refund me money. Owner refused on grounds it’s too complicated . The owner was busy travelling and is just greedy, there are better options around area (unless you pay a low price for room). I stayed in another hotel and told owner I wasn’t happy because the room didn’t match pictures and description on booking.com and I didn’t expect anything, but she insisted on refunding me 1/2 my money - that’s customer service and an owner that cares - this hotels owners should learn about customer service or find themselves without customers!- it was dated and needs updating. Even towels were falling apart (although clean)- no sound proofing, so you hear everything in room next door and outside (so need earplugs)

I like the increible landscapes, the installations of the hotel AND the eco path.

It's a far hotel from Medellín, increible for eco tourism.
