This hotel is located in the heart of Lübeck's historic Old Town district, close to the Lübeck Congress Hall. Hotel Alter Speicher offers classically furnished rooms. Pros +

The location is very nice, it's right next to the old city center and to a couple of nice bars. The rooms are big and the beds were clean.

Cons -

The hotel is old and it shows. Its in need of a renovation. It probably was amazing back when it was new, but now it's starting to get run down. However for the money it's fine, especially if you consider the top location. Other hotels are way more expensive. One thing that was bad was the extremely high temperature inside the hallway and rooms. Fixed that by opening my window for a couple of hours. Felt like it was a summer day however it was only 18 deg outside. Staff was okay but not present all the time at reception.
