    Pros +

    • The location out of town was a little bit noisy but only early in the morning because of the road. The breakfast was a bit basic but when we mentioned this they did add fruit the next day which was nice. It’s a shame the coffee was instant rather than the real thing which the area is famous for.
    • Lovely comfortable bed and good hot shower. It’s a 20 min walk to town but fine. Coming back at night, the last section of the walk is dark and has no pavement.
    • Garden with many lovely birds and a nice view. Good value. Pleasant breakfast.

    Cons -

    • There is no communal area or seating outside. Only by the office area for breakfast. I felt very unwelcome, and a bit of an inconvenience when I arrived and during my stay. On my last night the gates were closed and I could not get in when i came back at 8pm. i knocked and shouted but nobody came to let me in and the office was closed. I was quite scared as the hotel is on a main road and was dark and did not know what to do. in the end i had to climb over a barrier and through branches to get in. They told me in the morning that there was a buzzer but I couldn’t see it in the dark. I wouldn’t recommend this place for solo female travellers.
    • Poor natural light in room. A little bare and spartan. Longish walk (or short ride) into town.

This is a great place! We like the location: it is like 17 minutes walking from the town center, facing the mountains, the trees. and the clouds. The hotel is quiet, relaxing, and comfortable, which makes us feel at home and close to nature. Deicy, Selene, and Luis are so nice! They helped us everything: cooking the breakfast, making the coffee, booking the motorcarro, cleaning the room, etc. Although we do not know Spanish, we talked much with Deicy and Selene using Google Translate. Very nice talking! (We need to learn Spanish!) Really recommend this hotel. We love Jardín and hope one day we will come back here again and stay in this hotel for sure.

Nothing. Everything is perfect for this hotel.

    Cleanses

Breakfast was cold, coffee was from instant coffee, no butter.

Wonderful property, just outside of Jardín. Martin is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. He helped us set up an fantastic horseback tour up to a coffee farm high about the city and provided us with options for other fun activities (next time I want to check out the guided tour to the cave).

We had a car, so the distance to town wasn't an issue. If you visit and don't have a car, you could walk or take a tuk-tuk/moto-taxi for cheap.

This place was incredible. It was peaceful quiet And everything was brand new and super clean.I love that there were many fruit trees in the beautiful yard.I haven't recommended to anyone passing through that area.

The staff was very helpful and kind, and the breakfast was simple and good. I loved the location, very far from the noisy city center of Jardin.

Even though I escaped from the noisy city center of Jardin, I couldn't escape from the noise of the other guests in the hotel. The installations are new but very thin, I could hear easily the family upstairs discussing their affairs and another couple listening to loud music until 1AM.
