Hotel Zum Märchenwald

The staff and service were exceptional. They seemed like a family. The food in the restaurant was outstanding - in terms of price, quantity as well quality. Overall, one of the nicest places I have stayed in Germany.

The hotel is located in a quiet place. The interior, the restaurant and the room are stylish. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The menu was rich, the dinner was very tasty! The staff is polite. The breakfast was rich as well. The hotel is simply perfect. We will come back again sometime.

This was not our first time staying in this hotel and as usual everything was excellent. I requested a ground floor room as my husband that breathing issues at the time of booking. We were surprised when the hotel gave us a room kept exclusively for people with mobility problems. Many thanks for that.

A perfect stay, fantastic staff, professional, friendly and accomadated all our needs, great very clean large room, a wonderful breakfast every morning and option for dinner, on site parking and great location for our visit. We stayed here for 10 nights to visit where I grew up, Lingen and Nordhorn, a fantastic vacation.

The location is excellent in the Emsland region, and everything important is easily accessible via the A31. The hotel is modern and very clean, and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. It's a large hotel, so it's also suitable for groups. The breakfast is extensive, with something for everyone and very plentiful. They're also generous with check-out times and requests in general. Parking is free and plentiful. Overall, it's GREAT!For me, the best thing about the hotel is that the rooms have real shutters, so you can sleep in complete darkness, even in the bathroom. The hotel is also not very noisy, and you can sleep excellently.All in all, it's perfect! Excellent!

The room was situated above the restaurant terrace and it was loud at night when the window was open on the weekend.

A big surprise! we were passing through this area and decided to stay in a room here, we are a couple with 2 small children. The owner received us with great kindness and empathy, the room is very large, clean and complete with everything you need, we also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was all delicious. It's a shame that we only had one night available, we would have liked to spend more a few days here. We will definitely return in the future if we are in these parts! Highly recommended for those traveling with their family and looking for tranquility and the possibility of dining in the hotel, all at the right price for the quality of the environment and the restaurant service offered.
