Grand Caribe Belize

Purely luxurious. Huge spread out property beach front with 6 pools, adventures, spa, golf rentals, tours, market, restaurants with live music. It is pricey but every dollar well spent because this is probably the most beautiful place I could have picked to stay in San Pedro. Immaculate and safe. The shower was perfect and relaxing. And Wow the complimentary laundry service was phenomenal with a turn around of only a couple of hours! Unheard for me, and I have traveled the world. Big highlight for me to have clean clothes all trip long, I could have stayed at Gran Caribe longer because of this game-changer.The front desk took the greatest care of me being a female solo traveler. They were always available, coordinated all of my transfers, and communicated with me regularly via WhatsApp, phone, email, Booking.com. Especially Esmeralda who introduced me to the property upon check-in and Jorge who was fantastic in particular as a resource! Stellar and more than I could ask for.

Unfortunately the Caribe Village which includes both locations is a ways away from Town although midway between Town and Secret Beach. Transportation is pricey on the island including the taxis and golf rentals provided by the hotel (although this is the case everywhere in San Pedro). It would have been helpful to know from day one that the Amber Isle exists as an option for transportation.I missed it by there was a letter placed with my laundry the night before my departure which had all of my departure instructions including timing and taxi info. I thought the piece of paper was a laundry receipt so I overlooked it and was charged a late fee the next day for keeping the taxi waiting. Would have been nice to know that this was the procedure for departure ahead of time to avoid the penalty.

Nice facilities. Very clean with friendly staff. Gorgeous view with excellent pools to lounge in . The service was amazing.

Good location, nice property, kind staff, very large room. Love that the men open the front door for me every time!

Well, women traveling alone would feel very safe since night time security doesn’t allow any non-guests to enter the front door, however it does feel a bit parental since I know locals. Also, there was hair on the shower wall but they quickly took care of it.

Pretty pricey, the cocktails are way overpriced and then come even shy of alcohol. At least bring them loaded for that price. The food at the Restaurant is excellent but we only had our first breakfast and dinner at the Hotel, again way overpriced. 40% more than at the rest of the island. and there are tons of very good options around. No need to pay more for the same

The property was very nice. The room was spacious and had everything for us to cook. I really liked our room.

I didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t swim in the sea. The water was terrible and full of Sargassum. It made the are smell really bad. I didn’t liked being harassed by the security staff every time I went in an out of the property. I have stayed in Coco Beach 3 times and had never experienced that. I wanted something different for my other child who never been to Belize, because my daughter has been to Coco beach over and over again. For that reason I’ll never be staying at Grand Caribe again. I’ll be going back to Coco beach, I regret not booking with them on this trip.

THE RESORT IS OK, NICE ROOMS AND POOL AREAS.

THE STAFF NEEDS TO BE FASTER, THEY ARE AMICABLE BUT SLOWWWWW, ROOM SERVICES TAKES MORE THAN AN HOUR, HAD TO CALL 3 OR 4 TIMES TO ASK HOW MUCH LONGER

The people working there are very professional, hard working and pleasant. The environment was beautiful. Shower took long time to warm up and sometimes it did not get as hot as I would have liked. Also the bed in our room was very comfortable for me, but my husband felt ti was too soft. Overall I would highly recommend this wonderful place!

Resort is absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay. There are multiple pools around the property and a private beach. If you want adventure, you are a short drive from town and on site are water toys (paddle boards and kayaks). If you want an unBELIZEABLE experience, the tour office can help you book excursions. And, the Spa is the perfect way to end your stay. Staff is extremely accommodating and helped make our stay as stressful as possible free as possible.

Our F3 room was excellent with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beds were so comfortable with 6 pillows. Even though we did not cook the kitchen had every cooking appliance you could think of. Also, coffee was supplied every day and my took advantage of the staff taking care of washing their clothes

I always pick a place with a hot tub for my husband. One hot tub was completely down and the other one was not working properly. The restaurants on the property are not good for dinner as they are very expensive. The asian restaurant Aqua food was mediocre with small portions.

Beautiful room, staff was friendly and attentive. Easy cart rental and return. Pools were clean, good temps.

Could have used more lawn games. Weather was cool for the dates, only one hot tub available and only set at 93°. I better spot designated for snorkeling would be nice.

The grand caribe was a great hotel with really good restaurants onsite. The staff was very friendly and always accommodating. The dive shops would pick u up at the docks so that was nice and easy.

The price is a little expensive vs other islands all inclusive hotels, but overall a great place to stay!

Our stay at Grand Caribe Resort in San Pedro, Belize was nothing short of exceptional. The spacious and impeccably designed suite we called home surpassed even our highest expectations. The resort’s amenities were top-notch, offering a variety of complimentary water activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. We also appreciated the multiple pools, hot tub, and swim-up bar.The cherry on top was the resort's warm and friendly staff. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcome and at home. Overall, our experience at Grand Caribe was unforgettable, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing tropical getaway.

Breakfast room service was good and convenient. The location of the hotel was good, just enough out of town but not too far.

The pool was very warm, we also did not like the lay out as the swim up bar was somewhat out of the way making it difficult to keep any eye on belongings. Having some of the lunch items available on the dinner menu would be better, sometimes you just want a quick bite and not a full dinner. Also add some soft drinks to the room service menu other than juice.

I love the property and the location. I brought 10 other people in my group this time who booked also
