About

The TRIHOTEL Rostock – Adults Only is more than a hotel: It's a place to arrive, recharge, and feel good. Nestled in the Swiss forest, just 5 minutes from Rostock's city center, you'll find two restaurants, a bar with a live performance stage, and a 5.9 ft² wellness paradise. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The rooms are modernly designed and offer everything you need for your personal time out: from a cozy retreat to special categories with extra comfort. The wellness area features saunas, relaxation areas, a pool, and a snack bar. You can also book massages, beauty treatments, or romantic spa suites for your very own private moments. Culinary delights await you: In the "5 Elements" restaurant, regional cuisine meets modern lightness with a terrace overlooking the forest. The Rocktheater Bar combines culture and enjoyment: pizza, snacks, cocktails, and live events. At TRIBEHOLZ, you can enjoy light lunch and dinner snacks in the feel-good area and on a stylish outdoor terrace. Thanks to its proximity to the Rostock-Süd (A19) motorway exit, the TRIHOTEL is easily accessible. Perfect for short trips and spontaneous getaways. Important note: Economy rooms do not include access to the spa area (pool & sauna).

    Pros +

    • Nice pool, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed. Accommodated our large family very well and didn't charge extra for the kids.
    • only stayed one night, but everything was excellent. The hotel is charming, the room was comfortable, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I truly felt at home and would happily return. Though I only spent one night, the hotel seems promising and full of life, I wish I would have more time to explore the place
    • Nothing deserve to mention

    Cons -

    • No A/C in room (or anywhere) which is very common for Northern Europe but made for a hot night (temps were over 30C during the day). Pool was nice but supposedly off-limits for kids? We took ours anyways and no one said anything.
    • The rules of cleaning the room only every four nights they make one clean or they will charge you if you want daily cleaning first time I see like this
    • Restaurant staff was not good. We made a reservation in the restaurant and we were standing at the Front desk and there was like 5 waiters and no one say anything to us and then we were like hi can someone help up and then one lady came like yes how can I help you so maybe they can be more observant. So 1 of 10. Food nothing special. I would recommend to remove camera from the kitchen ? that’s was so silly watching how chef is standing and playing with his fingers on the kitchen counter.

It was smart and spacious. We had free transport into Rostock

The evening meal had a good menu, but the food was not impressive and was expensive

    clean room, good restaurant

Seems nothing , excpet the parking was paid but before I did not pay...

    Spa area is nice

Too noisy. There is a club and the music is very, very loud. I could barely sleep. If you want to rest, better another hotel without music…

    The peace and quit

it was too warm in the room and no way to cool it down other than opening a window. after opening a window, the mosquitos came in to feast.

Interesting concept, very modern and art style, not a standard but very nice, Spa available, scooter and bike available, parking in front and safe

Far away of City, staff not always competent, bar closes before official time, no beverages in room included, parking on additional costs but NOT granted a free slot!!!Room was offered but not told, it is a room for disabled persons. Not everybody likes it!Breakfast is fresh and OK so far - but not extraordinary. Expensive for the offered FOOD and service.

    Lobby and reception, nearby parking.

We had a room with windows facing the main road. The windows were well-sealed, but if we wanted to ventilate, the street noise was loud. The walls and doors were not soundproof at all, we could hear everything from the corridor and the neighboring rooms. The wellness area was average, the pool was smaller than in the photos and there was a smelly corridor leading to it and crazy stairs with a risk of slipping. Almost nobody spoke even the slightest bit of English, I don't understand how such people can work in a hotel where it must be common for foreigners to come (we weren't the only ones from abroad).Despite the strict no-smoking policy, the extractor fan turned on while showering, which couldn't be turned off, and it smelled of cigarette smoke. Also, lots od people smoked right before entering, so as a non-smoker, you had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke.

clean, quite cozy. comfortable beds. good TV.

The lady at the reception was rude. We checked into the hotel at 22:00 and immediately asked if we would be able to visit the SPA the next day after check out. We always choose hotels with a SPA, and in no hotel have we ever had a problem visiting the SPA the next day in case of a late check in. The elderly man who met us in the evening said that of course it was possible. However, when we came to the reception in the morning and asked how we could get into the SPA, the young girl administrator began to consult with a woman with a short haircut like a man's, how to do it, to which this woman in an absolutely rude manner replied that it was impossible. We had to pay for visiting the SPA, although it was included in the price of the room. I hope that these 19 euros that we paid will bring her happiness and she will buy herself at least a little respect for the guests. I want everyone to know. Guests are not welcome here. And obviously the hotel is either in really bad financial shape, since they were so concerned about those 19 euros for two people to take a dip in the pool, or the hotel has BIG PROBLEMS WITH MANAGEMENT.

The spa and wellness area was impressive & the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The rooms don’t have air conditioning so in the evenings it got unbearable hot and difficult to sleep with the summer heat - even with leaving the window open, so many bugs came into our room.

    Professional staff, nice spa area

Needed a little more in depth cleaning

    9AllanPosted on: 8-5-2024

They have nice spaces like the restaurant or the bar, the spa area was bigger than we expected, the room was comfy, the staff was friendly. And they accept dogs without any problem. We would def. come back.

Maybe the location, since it is not in the city center but it isn't far either (30 minute walking). The bus stops are just next to the hotel as well and they also offer bikes and scooters for rent, so, nothing bad to share really.

    Bad

The pool wasn't open and they didn't tell that to us before our arrival. After we complained about this because it was the only reason we wanted to come to this hotel, they didn't want to make us feel any better. So they lied to us and treated us poorly unfortunately.

Very satisfied with the service in the hotel. Clean, beautiful location, friendly staff. I arrived tired from a long journey, but I had a real rest at the hotel. I highly recommend it to everyone. Greetings, from Macedonia ??

    Clean

Room was warm during the day, parking is not free and not included in the price when the hotel was booked and so called “spa fee” due to the city’s policy apparently.

Location is great, right next to a small forest to walk and stay in touch with nature. It's also across the street from the bus stop that gets to and from the city center, which is only 4 stops away. Breakfast had a great variety, but costed 24 euros per person per day.

We stayed for 6 nights and our room and toilet were not even cleaned once. On the 1st day when we arrived, the room had a lot of spiderwebs and even a big spider that we had to kill ourselves because the front desk lady was not able to give us a broom or vacuum to help. On the second day we had to switch rooms, because the WiFi did not reach the room they originally gave us (which was not matching what we were going to receive according to our booking (room facing the street). On the 3rd day, the lights in the toilet of the new room were broken, so we had to wait until the 4th day to have this fixed. Luckily, the front desk man helped us with a standing light until then and he also gave us complimentary drinks. After the maintenance person came, there was a lot of debris and broken pieces and parts of the lights that were fixed. And these stayed on the floor until I had to clean them myself, when I noticed one day after. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were so small and soft, it was impossible to sleep with just one (and we only had one each). The pool bar, the rock bar and the small restaurant all have menus to order food from that is provided by the main restaurant at the hotel (5 Elements restaurant) which is incredible expensive and with very little options. The food you can order at the restaurant is different from the one you can order in the other peripheral venues but the prices are extremely expensive for all (24 EUR for a burger with supermarket chips or 18 EUR for a caesar salad). These two things we did order and they were good, however.

The decor in this hotel is fabulous! Very modern and colorful. The bed was very comfortable. Two restaurants and a bar on site. Very nice!!
