Hotel Ziegenkrug Rostock

The reception held open for late arrival after 21 o'clock despite it was supposed to close 21, according to information on booking.com. The restaurant staff was also very helping.

That breakfast wasn't included in the cost for the room. And there was no vegan friendly breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location, with easy access to Rostov Port. The parking lot is large and easy to park. It is very convenient for a stopover.

Location was far, it is outside of Rostock and transportation is only possible with the bus number 121 and it comes hourly on weekends, 2 times in an hour on weekdays

A bit old fashioned, old beds, dirty carpets, no soap/ shower gel in the bathroom.

I needed to stay just for one night after a very exhausting trip, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the bed was so comfy the bathroom was clean.The public transportation are generally not good on Sundays in Germany so not going to judge based on that.But overall it was a very nice experience and would love to come back again for more than one night.

The toilet door dont close good and the tv doesn't work

The staff was quite rude upon entry, when I entered my bedroom it smelled damp as we were on the bottom floor in a motel-style hotel. The first night after coming back to the room I found an earwig and another live bug in the bed I had to kill, there were also spiders on the walls and other blood splatters from people killing the bugs before me. It was disgusting. Since this is a pet-friendly place, at 5 AM there were dogs barking and howling from another room, people kept banging on the walls to quiet them. The public transport is every 30 mins and every hour on Sundays, you then need to get an additional tram to the center after the bus. The bathroom run out of shower gel, and no one came into the room during the stay to change towels, clean, or replenish the soap. No fire alarm in the room. When I confronted staff about the issues they did not care and dismissed me. I would avoid staying here at all costs, it is cheap but still not worth it.

staff told us the room was OK. our booking.com amount wasn’t enough to get a clean room. ☹️We asked for soap but never received it.

Simple hotel in good price. Big parking. Quiet place with nice staff.

Similar to motel, good connection Wi-fi, a lot of parking place. Bathroom in the room. Clean and quiet.

Hard to reach, especially in night , need to spend more for taxi. Beds were not comfortable .

Change bed mattresses . Please provide your own transport services or make co ordination with new transport era, rents bycycles.

The rooms were clean. The location is also good for those who travel by car.

Instead of being placed in 2 rooms with field view, which I booked beforehand and additionally paid for, I was given 1 room with parking view and 1 room with inner yard view. And in one room a pillow was missing.

Breakfast was okay

Being close to the main road, some of rooms obviously are affected by traffic noise. Rooms facing the courtyard are more quiet, but the courtyard interior, "garden" and sorroundings in general lacks maintenance and care, and are very uinspiring.
