Hotel Mercure Lille Roubaix Grand

We had a warm and friendly welcome. The welcome area and furniture is very nice. Breakfast was very fresh, hot and tasty with a good variety of options.

The lift area, lift, corridors and bedroom had a musty smell which was a little unpleasant. These areas seem tired and could do with a refurb.

Very pleasant helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Good location. Parking not straightforward. It's all round, pretty solid, and a good base in Roubaix.

Lovely staff. Had a bit of a mishap with our rooms being put together but they sorted it out. Parking underneath was very convenient (bit steep at €10 given it’s under the hotel!

Room was far too hot. Location is 20 mins train ride from Lille which was not what we expected. A real pain that the restaurant was not open Friday night or over the weekend - really hard to find places to eat. Ended up getting takeaway pizza. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer - pastries, toast, fruit and tea/coffee/juice at €18 would expect better

Style and service. Easy transport to neighbouring Lille which is a gem.

Restaurant closed on Friday night. Roubaix doesn’t have a lot to offer. So the restaurant being open would have been good.

Sorry buy really basic. Doors don't shut. TV didnt work. Value for money really poor

The room and the air conditioning!

Lack of attention from staff . Poor knowledge on the area. Poor service at breakfast . Too expensive for what it was !

Room was ok but there is bad smell coming from Room, told to staff but no action was taken, also bed was broken

Bed was broken and there was very awful smell from the room

The location of the staff. The room was clean, but could use some freshening up.

There was some paint chipping, and the paint on the walls was getting a little old. it looked like it hadn’t been renovated recently. The entryway to the parking lot, which we didn’t use for this reason, was extremely narrow.

It was central, close enough to the train station and very close to the subway. The room was very comfortable. The staff was very nice.

Staff outstanding, building is dated and needs a refurb. Lift area smelt of foul sewage (not an overpowering smell ?) overall good stay.The girl at reception was so welcoming ?

A cosy, clean hotel in the down town of Robaix.A quick connection to Lille via a Metro.Good breakfast. We had a family room on the top floor, which was nice & soundproof.

the location of the property is not far away from the central train station and the area is not, probably, the safest one for a walk after 8pm.

Great location, great staff, very helpful young man at reception on 16/10/2023. Reception staff on morning of 17/10/2023 were equally outstanding. Very clean hotel. Highly recommended.

Sharing the hotel with the Samoan rugby team when they were still singing at 4 o'clock in the morning!! The cost of the room & the restaurant wasn't available due to exclusive use by the rugby team which we weren't made aware of until our arrival

The staff on reception were Excellent, we didn't expect to have to stay in Roubaix and needed a place to stay at the very last minute. they catered to our every need

Absolutely nothing

I felt the staff did not care and were willing to fob you off any excuse, we had fire alarms go off in the middle of a sleep and loud music playing until late at night Had a terrible night sleep
