B&B HOTEL Lille Roubaix Centre Grand-Place

Its location close to transport and shop .A very welcoming staff and clean rooms.

The common areas are not really clean , but i hope the work being done there will solve the problem ! The rooms are missing fridges and coffee makers !

Nice people but reception area had a strong smell. Rooms did not and were very lean and nice, if small.

Very central with easy parking - Roubaix seemed difficult to drive through though !BBC world on tv. Big bed. Clean and simple.

No kettle or coffee making facilities in room.

The parking was for free, that is really appreciated ?

The shower was not so strong. The eggs were not good. You could feel it was powder, and it was cold.

This was a perfect way to visit Lille (when you don't have vignet). You can leave you car at the parking for a reasonable price, and the tram leaving for Lille every 10 minutes is just a minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel is also in walking distance of the Piscine museum. Roubaix has some nice restaurants, we were in a typical little French restaurant (le Rivoli) on the way back from the museum to the hotel. Next time we visit Lille, we will book again.

The bed was very comfortable! The black out curtains were good too.

We preferred this hotel when it was a hotel Ibis and were advised only 2 weeks before coming that the business had changed hands and name. No discount or breakfast was offered though despite the inconvenience caused by the difference in standing.

Nothing. Perhaps the lack of space in toilets

Toilet would suddenly start to start to drip water (almost like a toilet flush that just doesn't end)

Air conditioning not working despite being advertised as having air conditioning. Spoke to very rude reception staff who questioned why we wanted a/c, "it's not hot". It was 28° outside and even hotter in the room. I'd cycled 160km to get to the hotel, I needed a/c.Receptionist made no effort to check a/c was working, just gave us a small desk fan.Asked for a refund as the room wasn't suitable, reception unwilling or unable to refund. Now out of pocket after having to find a different hotel at short notice in an unfamiliar city. Neither Ibis or Booking seem interested in resolving my complaint.

Basic but clean accommodation. Room on the small side but fine for a 1-2 night stay. Staff were friendly, food in on-site restaurant was lovely. Good location for commute into Lille in the Metro.

Towels in the bathroom were not a suitable size for an adult, too small.

Unable to eat in restaurant as taken over by large group No red wine or rose wine available in bar Breakfast was very haphazard - big group had eaten before us so nothing much left and area left untidy . Staff on duty made no contact with us at all - we were just left to our own devices . Would not stay there again
