Hotel RBX - Roubaix Centre

Very enjoyable, safe and friendly place, in the centre of Roubaix

Location was good although neighbourhood was not.Newer bathroom accessories. Bed comfortable. Good breakfast.

Would have liked a kettle and a fridge. Minor repairs needed from neglect (curtains, pavement, window).

The staff were very accommodating. The location was close to a central square.

The facility is a little shabby but the room was comfortable and it was inexpensive.

Friendly and helpful staff, stacious and comfortable room, good continental breakfast.

Location. Gated building in city centre, alot of poverty, deprivation and inequality. Would recommend not venturing out at night, an experience during the day and areas to stay out of.

It doesn't look like the pictures at all. We paid for a superior double room and we received a small room, ugly with an uncomfortable bed. It was cold in the room despite the fact that we turned on the heat. Very disappointed especially that the room has nothing to do with the pictures that they presented

2 beds pushed together was not appropriate for a couple. Curtains did cover the window fully. The outside areas of the building and grounds needed some needed attention.

This is my second visit of the year.The place was very welcoming, clean , and spacious enough for 2.Staff was very welcoming and made you feel at ease. Shiva was a very polite, helpful gentleman he always made sure there's enough food for breakfast on the table for the next customer. I will definitely recommend this place.

Everything was perfect.

We liked that they changed our rooms upon our request. The first rooms that were provided to us were really bad. They've changed our rooms to much better ones. I was already looking for other hotels when I entered the first rooms.We didn't choose breakfast but they allowed us to get hot water to make our own coffee from the restaurant.The staff was very friendly.

The parking is very small and the walls are thin. We could here the neighbours shower. There was a parking issue in the middle of the night and someone decided that it was a good idea to wake everybody up by honking their car horn.The rooms on the north side are cold. When its a cold day and rainy day, as it was when we arrived, the rooms are not pleasant. Especially the ground floors. The rooms get almost no sunshine.

This hotel is in Roubaix, it is on the metro line so easy to reach from central Lille. The room was clean and we were allocated a ground floor room on request. We would happily stay here again. We tooke the TGV from Tourcoing after checkout which can easily be reached by bus or metro should this be part of your ongoing journey.

Unfortunately the other guests were very noisy. Room doors open onto a car park so you hear all the comings and goings at the hotel.

The staff were very helpful and the location was great!!

Very warm on upper floors as windows do not open in rooms.

Actually slept really good. Parking is why i stayed there.

Have been renovated but not well maintained, everything has to be re done. No maintenance is done in this place. 1st bathroom sink was draining directly on the floor, then they gave me an other room, the bathroom was ok but the room smelled moisture and wasn’t very clean. Photos are not even close to what the rooms are.

Apart from the fact that Hotel RBX was well located for the event we were in Roubaix it’s a poor hotel.

The rooms are poor quality, not very clean and had no hot water.

The floor wasn’t clean ,my remote control wasn’t working so I took it to the receptionist who’s promised me to exchange it, but it never happened, she said she will only report it and I have to deal with it

Good price/quality. No nonsense, clean and functional.Everything functioned as it should be. Good for a short stay.Even during the cold, snow and icy rain the room stayed lovely and warm.Central location, close to shopping centre, restaurants, metro and railway station.

The building itself has become a little dated, especially the outside and entrance to the rooms.Minor communication error with the lady at reception, although not really a problem.After icy rain the stairs become slippery and due to snow the parking and building entrance became dangerously slippery too (but so was the whole of the town)

First we entered the room ans smell a strong cigarette smoke..we keep open the windows but the smell were there..that cut our experience half as we could not breath .we took the key at 19h then just left a.bags and came back at 12:00 and realised the smell.were still there..at 5 Am I woke up to go toilette and I saw that someday used the toilet paper and put it on the top of the cupboard and put ashes at the.space for the toilet paper..that explain the reason of the ongoing smell in the all property. I took a picture . I went back to bed and cover myself under my sheet as I did at the beginning of the night to avoid smelling that disgusting smell.In addition at 9Am we were getting ready in the bathroom and realised there were not hot water. Due to the time we will be late to our appointment therefore we had a cold shower..There were no heater on , the room was cold. I do not know if hotel are saving energy during the.night...

Better than some reviews. Clean, spacious and the room was modern.Hot water when needed, with good power on the shower.Bed was big and comfy, with plenty of plug sockets.Very little noise and short walk from a big mall and tube station

Perfect for what I required, even if it was a 24 minute tube ride out of Lille
