City hotel Terneuzen

Nice staff. The restaurant only serves one type of food each day (mondays - burgers, Tuesdays - pizza etc) so we got recommendations from the staff to eat at the Churchill hotel instead (7min drive with the car). Free parking

Noisy, very soft bed, breakfast was OK.

Breakfast ok nothing special just all you need is available.Room not very large, bathroom very basic, positive bed's they where very good.To much noise at 6h30 in the morning and to expensive for the facilities you get.

bathroom, shower is old and needs replacement but hot water is a positive thing. No bath or something to put your towels on. Vending machine is broken. Location is bad, you need a car.

The room was spacious and breakfast was fine

Intense smell of bad drains in the room. Reported to the receptionist and requested to be moved to another room but the request was ignored.

Overall I had pleasant stay and room is pretty comfortable, nice bed and pillow. Breakfast was rather poor and could be improved with fruits, olives, green salads that do not cost much.

Balcony was bit dirty but also restauranta roof as you can see if from balcony.Lacking parking spots.

The room was very old and basic, it smelt so fusty as soon as we opened the door whoch was very unpleasant

The young waiter in the restaurant: amazingly outstanding.

No air circulation in the rooms. At night you need to open the window for fresh air, but then smoke comes in from smokers at nearby balcony's as smoking is allowed on those balcony's.

Loud motorbike street races on the street right outside the hotel kept me from sleeping

Bacon was burnt, some mornings many items were not kept filled.

Hair dryer in room. Smell from kitchen reached room some mornings.

Carpet in the room since I am allergic. The electric charging station outside the hotel had no instructions in any language. Since its there, probably a good idea to provide instructions.

Breakfast was good. Fruits and eggs, bread, not too many options though.

I have the felling the restaurant was better in the past years (better and fresher options). Its value for money not great.

Larger room than we expected, comfy bed and bedding. Lighting was terrible though, only a couple of side lights, no central light. The receptionist was excellent, she worked so hard as the check-ins were non stop and she was on her own. Breakfast was included and it was plentiful. There was a supermarket within walking distance.

Although it was supposed to have a fully equipped kitchenette, we actually had one plate, one fork and a few glasses! Soon remedied by the receptionist who allowed me to take what we needed from the restaurant. Maybe the cleaners need a bit more training to notice these things?

Convenient, clean, comfortable, nice breakfast included.

The pillows were so huge, it gave us stiff necks!

In winter it's cold, terrible smell from drains, biggest impression was spider webs all around the room.

The communication from reception to kitchen. The cleaning team that entered the room when I told them not to and even with the red card on the door.

The hotel is easy to get to, quiet surroundings, and ample parking.

The bedding wasn’t clean and there were still dirty towels left by the last visitors.
