Hotel Restaurant Piccard

A solid tourist hotel in a good location close to the promenade and within walking distance of the centre. I had a recently renovated room with a spacious bathroom (shower and bath) and terrace. Breakfast is nothing special but adequate. Parking is available at the hotel car park for a fee, but is free on the street. There is also a storage shed for bicycles. Reception and staff are very friendly and professional.

The hotel is gradually being renovated, and during my stay, work was going on. That is, of course, annoying and not conducive to the desired peace and quiet.

Rezeption.. Staff were very good.. / Barkeeping and service were So La La.. One guy didn´t know what Calvados is.. same guy messed up the Bill charged us for 2 Drinks we didn´t have ..also my fault I didn´t check it well.. / Breakfast was Ok..

Good breakfast and restaurant, perfect location.

All good for that price.

Rooms were nice. It would have been good to have mugs rather than paper cups and the room was too hot. The staff were lovely. We also enjoyed the pool and the sauna.

My daughter is celiac and although we were told gluten free isn't a problem the first night we were not given a gluten free menu until after the meal and the second night given s desert with biscuit crumb.

Room was dirty, there is a lot of extra payments after booking. Staff is ignorant

Everything was provided as we had booked. Car parking was important, and was reserved as booked. A well run hotel in a convenient location for our journey, clean and efficient as expected. The restaurant was good.

Location is great 2 minutes away from the beach and secure overnight parking is a bonus. Great food when we had dinner on a 3 course set menu, great value Thanks for a great time

Bed, blanket, room are very small. The facility is also old. The price is too high comparing with the room conditions.

The family rooms are quite small and there is no real place for relaxing (like a couch) The swimming pool is no very attractive and very deep. The sea is close but you will have to walk stairs (no practical with a stroller) The food was good and the kids received a present with ever menu which was a cute idea!

The whole hotel is quite old/not modern. It looks better on the photos then it is... Some rooms don't even have a window.

In general everything was great, but room price was high (although in line with other hotels in Zeeland).Rooms were a bit noisy. We were lucky to have had quiet neighbors (without children) as we could hear when our neighbors were talking inside their rooms, and also when people were walking in wooden floor and stairs outside.

Lady on reception was very helpful. Our room was clean and furnished lovely. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The bar and waiting wre lovely and so helpful. The pool and sauna were a welcome surprise

Near the beach. Decor was instantly high end. Bar staff friendly (Lithuanian chap with perfect English!) Reception staff cold, wooden and reluctant to help.Parking free outside the front door.

Bathroom drain broken. Stunk like a farmyard. Was disgusting & filled the bedroom everytime door was opened. Complained and Staff were not interested. Stated the problem had been reported the day before, but clearly nothing done about it and we were allowed to take the room.Receptionist called the "Hotel Manager" who offered a 20 Euro refund. This was really poor considering the room cost 228 Euros. Almost an insult to add to the injury of having a unusable room. (Thank goodness we were only there for 1 night)Room Sq M poor for a Family of 3. Breakfast- Ok. No sausages! Walls very thin, could hear neighbours who were very loud!

The bed was very comfortable.The swimming pool and sauna was great.It is 5 minutes walking to the beach or to the city center..

Pet Friendly, Clean, diverse breakfast, wonderful dinner, great location.

A small fridge in the room would be desirable.

The upstairs and general area are a little older but still pleasant. The pudding menu was a let down, we ordered a Lemon Tiramisu and all it was was lemon flavoured cream which they charged 8.5 Euros, needless to say we sent it back and didn’t pay for it.
