Timber jacks was more than expected, check in was easy, staff was expecting me. How cool is that? Room was spotless modern as far as technology and bathroom was excellent

Unusual concept of accommodation and restaurant. Food was great - dinner as well as breakfast! Room was clean, spacious and well designed.

Very friendly and relaxed staff, sometimes so relaxed that it takes a while to be served.The start of breakfast (served) at 9am is crazy. I would prefer to have a breakfast buffet open from 7:30 and leave.

There was a freezing rain happening in the morning and all outside walkways impossible to walk. I slipped and fell to the ground the first step leaving the door....

An excellent experience. Super food and ambience. Motel and Restaurant in an impressive design.

Waited too long to get the room. No breakfast before 9:00h. OK for recreation, but too late for business travel.

They should drop the word Motel from their name. It’s better than some of the 4star Hotels.

Very clean, quality stuff (German way of making things), quiet, beautiful nature, busy in the parking on Saturday evening, but still could find a place. Big and open bathroom in the rooms located at the first floor, which can be disturbing if you travel in a couple, big balcony.

Just to find something to complain about, the ac was pointing directly to the bed. You can adjust it manually though, by turning the ventilation clamp to blow to the floor.

The room was fantastic and the steaks in the restaurant were class. Very friendly staff and overall great atmosphere.

Not recommended for a business stay. No breakfast before 9 am, dark room, bathroom lighting very poor, very soft matress, no closet, no iron availale. There appears to be no hotel staff, only the personell in the restaurant, which closes from 10 pm to 9 am, and nobody answers the phone or email.

Would have liked a more traditional breakfast option, and the hotel was a little hard to find

Loved everything about this place, I stay in hotels regularly on business. Thought I'd give this place a try. Best nights sleep and most comfortable bed in a long time

Clean (although they should clean under the beds too. There appeared to be a ‘pleasure toy’ from a previous guest.)Level of detail and finishing of the room interior design is superb

Check-in takes a very long time. There’s a lot of staff walking around but only one can take care of check ins. This process should be optimized by management because guests have to wait 10-15 min to get a simple key card. Same with check-out when asking for a company bill. Takes them ages to get it sorted. Having breakfast there is super expensive. You can better go to the place Nextdoor. The hotel is located next to a main road and you need a car/motor/taxi to get to the center

Everything! The place is amazing with gorgeous rooms and every luxury you could want. The restaurant has an amazing menu that caters to every taste and the staff are so helpful.

The tee shirts/sweatshirts aren't shelved in size order so difficult to find specific sizes- a small thing in general but i had to go back 3 times while they dealt with other customers

Hotel is very good. American concept made in Germany. BUT the problem is Bartender. Very unpleasant, rude, unhelpful. C

Bed, shower, room in general were all wonderful.

Breakfast didn’t open until 09:00. Then, the scrambled eggs were not made with fresh eggs, the beef-bacon was so salty that it was not edible, and the latte macchiato was a bit low on milk.

Beautiful surroundings. Large bathroom, comfortable bed and combination of natural wood/stone materials. Great food in the restaurant but expensive.

Very interesting interiour design, pretty good location (not in the city, but still very close to get to the Altstadt just by foot.Huge parking place just next to the hotel and restaurants buildings.

Somehow all the efforts of the owners went to the rooms decorations, but more attention should be paid to the personal (maybe, they are heavily underpaid or the head of staff is not perfect as it could be).First of all, the person at the reception would like me to pay for the room for the second time, even if I gave them the evidance that my reservation is 100% pre-paid. Eventually my record was found in their computer. Not a single pardion after the incident.Then nobody even thought to offer me a reservation in the restaurant tonight. So the place was full and I was not able to have my dinner there. So no idea if the food is tasty or not, but taking into account the restaurant personal was extremely over-stressed, I would expect it is not. Cocktail were tasty, but every interaction with the personal required double-triple of reminding.

great concept, with solid vibe

the menu is a lot. ingredients repeat in a lot of variations of themes.might be part of the concept, I would reduce the items on the menu and therefore rotate frequently, for some items e.g. sides and desserts.or try develop a true signature side dish…
