Sunny Palms Beach Bungalows

To be honest, Sunny Palms has an excellent staff; however, the good parts about the property end there. Too far away from everything; swimming with the turtles, jet skiing, para-sailing, spice farm, snorkeling, and Stone Town. Bring plenty of mosquito repellent. Make sure you rent a car from the airport, no microwave with a small fridge. No activities on the property, it's basically a place to sleep. Don't get me wrong the price was excellent for one week stay.

clean and new resort. it has nice swimming pool close to the ocean. good access to the beach. The staffis very nice and doing their best to make your stay remarkable, they are always smiling and willing to help. food is delicious and the chief tries his best to meet our needs.

The rugs at the bedroom are very light and could be slippery

The cost of the food

It was a perfect location if you want to have some lazy days. Beautiful buildings, a well-maintained green area, and quiet time in the evenings made for a relaxing holiday! Thank you!

We had to wait for a long time for a taxi. It might take 1-1,5 hour before it comes. The mosquito netting had holes, and we got mosquitoes from the bathrooms to our bedroom. When we ordered manicures and pedicures for 20 and 25 US dollars, we had to pay 30 US dollars each, as the guy had to travel a long distance. It is not ok. You need to inform about the price before, not after when you are ready to pay. We waited for the guy for 1,5 hours. We ordered coffee in the morning for breakfast, but after waiting for about 40 min. it never came, as the coffee machine did not have coffee beans. Ordered a burger one evening, but the meat did not taste right, had a deli belly after.

Rooms were spacious and well maintained, children's play area and common pool was good.

Private pool was not maintained well..

We got a villa with a swimming pool and we were amazed by how clean and well kept it was. The air was so fresh inside. Housekeeping would come daily and make sure the villa was maintained up to standards. The reception team went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs were met and a special and grateful thank you to Mariam and Daisy. The manager Hamdi was also very helpful and kind throughout our stay; we would like to thank him for his hard work. We will definitely be going back to this resort in the future if we visit Zanzibar again. There was always a variety of dishes on the menu and we would like to thank Mary and Elizabeth for their amazing hard work and patience.In general, a special thank you to everyone for making our stay amazing.

The property is absolutely gorgeous, felt like paradise as soon as I arrived! I came to stay after climbing Kilimanjaro and this was the perfect place to rest and recover! Very clean with staff always sweeping and cleaning. I came as a solo traveller and the staff made me feel very safe and comfortable, they organised transfers for me which helped a lot! Everyone here is so friendly, always asking how I was and if I was enjoying my stay. One day I wish to come back to Zanzibar and I will be staying here! Also the food was incredible, the best seafood I’ve ever had!

INTERNET WAS POOR

This is the second time we stay in Sunny Palms, The resort is well maintained, very clean.The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing.This time The villa has better WiFi and better Air conditioning than last time which reflects how the management is working to maintain and improve their service. The beds were comfortable and provided with nets. staff would also attend in the evening to open the nets and spray insect repellent.we booked last min as we had an unfortunate experience in another resort. Although we arrived unexpected, the villa was ready and in emaculate condition. Walking through the resort felt like our holiday was saved from disaster.

I liked everything. The resort in reality is as it is advertised Thanks Sunny Palms I would come again.

It was very clean, the staff are exceptionally friendly, very quiet and not crowded.

No alcohol is permitted on the premises. You drink inside your room. The breakfast was not value for money at all. The beacon was very stale, the vianna a were not nice. They need to improve. They just dnt have interesting menu.

This place opened 4yrs ago and still looks new. Very clean and well-maintained facilities, quiet and clean beach, lovely staff and amazing seafood dinners. We got upgraded and had a two-room with a huge TV and Netflix. The sunrise views are stunning.

We didn't mind too much, but find it worth mentioning that the location is a bit remote (about 1hr to either airport, Stone Town and Paje), and that the restaurant/bar is strictly non-alcoholic (Mocktails are great, though, and there are bars very close-by)

Very good for family. Villa with 3 bedroom is uniq.Small and very friendly staff.attending request from the guest specially the chef, we had a vegan member that was attended super.There is a supermarket across the gate

More variety of food offer in the restaurant. The rooms and facility are not accessible for wheelchair.The place location is secluded there for you must eat at the hotel.

Poor internet

Everything. From the location to the apartments. To the views all was Amazing.and out of this world ?.Check-in/Check-out was super efficient. I Ashamed I didn't get the name of our check-IN host. (bro if you read this. just know you are the best.) your patience your attention to detail and always reassuring gesture was amaizing) Wi-fi in the middle of nowhere(Paradise) yes please. and we did exactly have this. fast. secure connection all through our say. and of course....... private pool. you guy my guy. We are definitely coming back.

There nothing not to like about the place. It's paradise. And the staff????? words aren't enough.Anybody who will or would find anything to dislike is simply a HATER
