    Pros +

    • Friendly, genuine staff. Pleasant and calm surroundings, excellent food, and the opportunity presents itself to safely walk up the road and talk to locals.
    • The staff is very kind and supportive. It is a nice stay for backpackers and families on a budget. I paid for a sea view banda but when I arrived it had been given to another couple. After 10 hours of travel I had to wait in a family room where I couldn’t really settle in, while the staff waited for the couple to return and pack (3 hours) and then be cleaned (1 hour), until moving into my room at 10pm. At 12:30am a cockroach crawled across my chest the first night, waking me up. I had paid through Booking so I had to accept the loss and pay for two nights elsewhere without any refund. If you need to work at all or are someone who wants a television or swimming pool or gym, this is not for you and this and more is available for the same price or less. There is air conditioning and some of the units have mosquito nets. The food is fine.
    • The place looks really nice and quiet and ideal for relaxing. There is a bar and an area with hammocks facing the ocean which was really cool. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and clean. During high tide you can go swimming in the ocean but the water is very shallow and there are rocks so you would need shoes to swim.

    Cons -

    • Many people inquire about whether the complex has a pool, due to the tidal nature of the ocean. Swimming can be limited to high tide. The management have plans to build a pool. Watch this space!

    • 1. The breakfast choices are quite limited. Breakfast included three pieces of fruit, a glass of juice (which we didn't always get), toast and eggs. Someone would come to take your breakfast order but sometimes you had to go remind them2. If you don't eat something on the breakfast menu, its hard to substitute because the menu is limited3.The service is incredibly slow. On two days we went to the breakfast area an hour before we wanted to leave and still had to leave before we got all our food because it takes ages before anyone comes to take your order. And sometimes they forget what you ordered so you have to go to the counter to remind them.4. The place is remote and hard to find on your own which makes you have to rely on the hotel to arrange transport for you. But the transport is expensive and is priced in USD 5. Food is a bit pricey and priced USD and the quality doesn't really the pricing.

The rooms are very nice and stylish. All the property is immersed in the nature. The view of the sunset is also astonishing! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food was great, in particular the curry prawns!

Having the swimming pool would be a great plus. The sea is nice but with the high/low tide it’s not always usable. I think the pool is in the plans for next year…In our room there was no mosquito net. I think it would be great to add it.

Everything was great, we booked a 3-star and were treated as if it were a 5 star. Rooms were comfortable, staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is good. We even had the privilege of meeting the resort owner, whom to our surprise was a local, as we were previously informed most resort and hotel owners are from abroad and investing, however knowing we were supporting local was a massive value add. If you’re looking for a relaxing home away from home this is the place to be and the rates are fantastic for what you get. A little piece of heaven ❤️ Asante Kidoti Bay!

I would have loved a pool, I believe this is potentially on the cards for the future so really looking forward to a return visit :)

Beautiful rooms, freshly refurbished Great breakfast with tasty fruits We also ate dinner and had cocktails, we both were very pleased with that

No clear signs from Main Street. Make sure you go little bit further than Google maps indicates and turn left from main street. And then one more time left into secondary road, then you will see Kidoti Bay indications inside the forest.

No internet in rooms.Bed was hard.Breakfast is only 2 Eggs,2 Toast Slices and 3 pieces of fruits. You have to pay for water, even at Breakfast.

Nice staying!Quiet and relaxing place, friendly and helpful staff, tasty dishes, good breakfast.Good choice of wine and cocktails.Clean and spacious room.Swimming is possible during high tides, but during low tides you may walking on the marine bottom or take an excursion by boat.

A bit difficult to find this place.

    8MarcoPosted on: 4-29-2023

Big rooms, cozy beds and the best Banana Shake on Zanzibar. Food was generally good. to be outside of Nungwi was also very nice - less stress.

No WiFi. Also not a fault of the hotel, but the water is very shallow and during low tide very far away.

    9IovanPosted on: 4-17-2023

The food is good. The view is amazing and the staff is very nice.

    8SaharPosted on: 3-23-2023

The property was very clean and the room was spacious. Friendly staff, and helpful. You can have breakfast with a peaceful view of the ocean.

The location was kind of remote from the famous places, and even it was difficult to find, especially at night (no big sign on the main road). The only major problem I could say is the guards at night don't open the door and even the numbers on the door don't work. I had to wait about 30 minutes at night behind the gate to let me in.

Perfect location for a little time out. Super relaxing with nice staff, clean/new rooms and amazing views. Nothing to complain.

    10SergeyPosted on: 3-15-2023

best place on the whole island! The hotel is new, renovated fresh and high quality! the staff is beyond praise, very hospitable and sincere people! nungwi and kendwa within 15 minutes by car if you want big parties! food is good, cocktails are great! perfect place! The hotel has only 6 rooms, its own small beach with sunbeds, tables, hammocks, descending into the water by stairs, there is no one around, its own separate piece of the ocean))) the water is crystal clear, the tides are strongly felt, but at 3 p.m. the water is already high. it was a bit difficult to find the first time, if you are driving towards nungwi along the highway, passing kidoti village, look to the left there will be an asphalt turn, drive straight along it until the road turns right, you need to turn left onto a dirt road, then there will be signs with signs. stayed for 6 nights, traveled by rented car, will definitely be back! all photos on booking correspond to reality

Incredible location, beautiful views, very friendly staff, huge and stylish rooms, delicious food

The place is still being developed so the rooms felt a bit bare (like adding a few hooks, etc woyld be helpful). That said, the staff was very attentive and gave their best to make our stay comfortable.
