The Farnham Arms Hotel

Liked everything the only thing was the room wasn't cleaned/ bed changed we were there for 2 nights and paper cups no proper cups either than that a lovely stay .

The location is in the centre of town.

This has to be the weirdest hotel I have ever stayed in. From having to enter a code on to this over sized buttons to my the elevator work. To have an ironing board outside my room and calling it the Ironing stations. There was no real cups or glass or cheap disposal ones in the room. And the room its self was right out of a 70s horror movie. The breakfast lol. Do not got for what they call a continental. It is 3 cereal box's some bread and some random confectionery. But hot food is only from 9am

Lovely hotel. Maybe a bit outdated for some people but I found it charming. Very clean, Lovely staff, very comfy beds and the room was lovely and warm. Nice breakfast. Cant find any fault

Dark in some areas and breakfast could have been cooked a bit better.

Didn’t think much of the breakfast very poor just like the thought it was near the shops

Water in the rooms better coffee some biscuits and more heated

Parking in the rear of the building was great. As a solo traveller, it felt very safe.

I woke to a couple having a row during the night. One person was knocking on the door & shouting nearby. This could have happened in any hotel of course...

The location and most of all the restaurant the food and staff were 5 star quality

At breakfast drilling and banging opposite our table was not good

Staff were fantastic, bar and restaurant and food excellent.

Bedroom comfortable but the bathroom although spacious, lacked shelf for washbag and glasses. Hairdryer available in bedroom but no mirror near it. Only paper cups for tea or coffee in room. TV difficult to control as switch for TV covered by frame of wood.

Stayed here the night before my sisters wedding in the Farnham estate, located in town centre so some local restaurant options

Very dated and frankly depressing decoration.Rooms though clean were painted a dull brown without any wall art to brighten things, view from our window was a debris strewn flat roof

Very spacious room and bathroom, large bed, friendly staff, breakfast included in the room price including continental breakfast and a cooked menu, great Full Irish breakfast. Location excellent, close to everything downtown in Cavan. Surprisingly quiet at night, no disturbance while sleeping.

-WiFi sometimes unstable-Pillow a bit too flat and too soft-Stairwell might have some old smell

Central location in town near many dining options besides the restaurants in the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Large comfortable room with plenty of electrical outlets and charging options. Great shower!

The friendliness of the staff top class, the food superb, the rooms clean and bed so comfortable

We would have liked drinking water in the room, but it was nothing major.

Walkable to local pubs and shops. It does have a lift.

Tiny parking lot with limited spaces. Worn facilities with some refurnished. Room very warm and bed rock hard. Adequate for one night.

The Hotel was Spotless clean. The Breakfast was delicious and served hot. The staff were really accommodating and friendly.

Unfortunately there is no residents bar in the Hotel. The attached Bar closes at 11pm.

Excellent central location, check-in and out was very efficient and the member of staff on reception was a credit to the hotel, very friendly, great sense of humour and very welcoming. We checked-out just before breakfast service was due to commence however breakfast service staff kindly offered us a range of cereals, juices and hot drinks, etc.

The hotel has seen better days and is in need of investment in modernisation and renovation to warrant the price.

The Farnham Arms Hotel is in an ideal location in the centre of the town. The bedroom was nice and bright with a newly decorated bathroom. The evening meal and the breakfast were superb. The staff were lovely and helpful, the young girl at reception on our arrival, the waiter giving us advice on where to find live music on a Thursday night and Jacintha offering us all sorts of tasty treats at the breakfast table.
